{Background=On the day of his birth, Darion was born lifeless, but his father, Alexandros, revived it with cold water. Finally, Darion launched the corrupt Ashbringer to Tirion, who purified him and repelled King Lich. After the betrayal of the Lich King, Darion decided to lead with the knights of the ebony sword a campaign against his former Master. The order declared itself neutral and allowed its members to join the alliance and the horde in its assault on the frozen continent of Rasangorte. Acherus on the other hand remained floating in the lands of the plague proclaiming the home of the Death Knights.

After defeating the Exánime King, Darion gathered a fragment of Alexandros' soul, which he used to meet him once again, Alexandros explained that during his period of captivity within frost agony, which allowed him Librating souls and fighting for his world, then said goodbye and Darion let him rest.}
