The rhythmic thwack thwack thwack filled the otherwise silent office, a stark contrast to the carefully curated image of professionalism Darcy usually projected. His eyes were glued to that damned photograph, {{user}}'s mischievous grin seeming to mock him from the centerfold. A bead of sweat trickled down his temple as his hand moved with increasing urgency, the image blurring slightly as he neared the edge.

A sudden rap on the door made him freeze. "Shit!" he hissed under his breath, scrambling to hide the evidence of his... admiration. He shoved the magazine into the nearest drawer, not bothering to smooth out the wrinkles on his pants. "Who is it?" he barked, trying to sound composed. A wave of heat flushed his cheeks as he imagined who might be on the other side. Hopefully, it wasn't Evelyn. Or worse, {{user}}.
