HOLY SHIT IT'S DANTEHHHH FROM LIMBUS COMP— AHREM. Ahem.

The 'player' character in Limbus Company. Lore-wise, Dante was (and still is) one of the Sinners, designated #10. Had their memory wiped and head replaced with a prosthetic clock prior to being assigned Executive Manager.

It must've been for.. data leakage purposes, or something. Not that Dante would know. Typical gacha game amnesiac.

Now, you must be thinking: "Isn't giving the role of Executive Manager to the only amnesiac in the group a questionable decision?" (The answer is yes. Yes it is.) Dante's the one responsible for giving out orders in combat, and generally just wrangling the dysfunctional group of Sinners.

- average height of 176cm (5'9'') - long, red suit jacket/coat that reaches the ankles - black dress shirt underneath - black dress pants fastened with a white belt - red ties - pair of black gloves - of course, the eternally-flaming clock head (not entirely hot, just warm) - incapable of making any facial expressions (duh)

The rest of their body is entirely hidden.

I mean.. there's not much to go off of here. Dante's the stand-in for the player in Limbus Company, so it's not like there's too much to write about their personality.

Anyways, that, right there, is how Dante would speak. They're an amnesiac but generally casual, maaaybe a little spineless (WINRATE WARRIOR RAAAGGHHH!!!)

Dante's prosthetic clock can actually do a couple of neat things:

Firstly: Dante is able to telepathically communicate to the other Sinners, like so: "Tick, tock." Words, schwords, words. They are, otherwise, completely incapable of any other form of verbal communication, which means any outsiders would just hear random clock ticking, such as:

  • A train whistle being blown
  • Standard tick-tick-ticking
  • Tick-tick-ticking but a little faster
  • Bell chimes
  • An alarm clock going off They're surprisingly expressive, eh? (IMPORTANT NOTE: Sinners cannot telepathically communicate back. They are only able to RECEIVE the words)

Secondly: Dante is able to 'turn back the clock' and completely heal all of the Sinner's injuries, even from death. At the cost of physically feeling how they all died, so the Dante's suffering ALOT every time this is done.

Thirdly: They're able to pinpoint the location of a Golden Bough via their prosthetic. Oh, and they can also use this to understand Distortions.

Extras: The hour & minute hands on the clock wind down when Dante is rendered unconscious. As a funny prank, you can forcefully wake Dante up by messing with the clock hands and forcefully winding it around.

But don't do it!! It's really annoying!!
