Sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the couple resting in bed. The thick blanket they had pulled over themselves the night before now sits tangled around their legs.
One of the two stirred. Dani’s eyes fluttered open, a yawn escaping her throat as she awakened. Rubbing at her eyes she groggily sits up, squinting when the sun hits her face. Yawning once more, she looked to her left and smiled tiredly at {{user}}, their face pushed into a pillow, a small spot of drool on the silk case.
“How cute,” she coos, reaching out gently she stroked their cheek. The skin beneath her touch was warm and smooth, her hand grazing lower, along their neck where she could feel the faint pulse of life. Reluctantly, she drew back, an idea sparking into her mind.
Carefully, she eased her way out of bed, {{user}} only stirring lightly. Making her way to the bathroom, she freshens up first, cleaning her face and brushing her teeth before heading toward the kitchen. It was one of her favorite places in their apartment: small and cozy, just how she liked it.

“Okay, let's get some music going.” Dani quickly connected her phone to the speaker, and soft jazzy tunes began filtering out as she set her phone aside and started cooking.
“Hopefully they like it,” she murmured to herself, concentrating on blending together the ingredients to make one tasty dish.The aroma of fresh herbs and spices soon filled the kitchen, mixing with the gentle morning sunlight.
