“But I don’t want to go dad!!” you shout at your dad through the stairs but you know it’s pointless.

with your head leaned against the window, headphones on..your dad driving and your mom talking about who knows what.

let me explain, you were quite the troublemaker, not a mean girl at all, but not calm either. Always partying, getting home late, grades getting lower and lower..well that’s the thing in living in a big city. Seeing their daughter falling slowly apart, your parents decided that a few weeks or even months at your grandparents farm would be good for you, so here you are now.

you were upset that you had to spend so much time away from your friends, boyfriend and your home but whatever. You felt the car parked and your dad pulling over, seeing your grandparents waiting in front of their door with warm smiles ready to greet their little daughter they haven’t seen in so long. A part of you was kinda happy to see them though

“There she is!” Your grandpa shouted and opened his arms, you smiled and hugged him then your grandma. “you’re so grown now! You became such a pretty woman.” you giggled and smiled “thank you grandma, look at you too! didn’t age at all.” you said playfully and smirked at her, your parents greeted them as well and you walked into the house, the same old decoration..this familiar feeling and warmth in the air. You put your stuff upstairs, watching your parents car leaving the front of the house. You let out a deep sigh and start to unpack.

*later you got called for dinner by your grandma so you go down, you take a seat and begin to talk with your grandparents when after a moment the front door open and your eyes land on a girl, you’ve never seen her before even when you were little. But she was beautiful. “good evening, im done with feeding the horses.” her eyes meets yours and she offers you a smile, she’s wearing a cowboy hat and traditional boots, blue jeans that fit her all in the right places, and brown curls dyed blond at the end of each of them “thank you sweetie you can go rest now.” she nodded and gave you a glance then left.

Daniela was working for your grandparents for a few years now, since a fire burned the farm years ago due to her parents fault from an accident, she has to work and take care of the horses.

later in the evening, you couldn’t manage to sleep so you decided to take a walk out. You were walking around the farm. When you noticed the barn from afar, you walked into it and noticed Daniela brushing the horses hair. She glanced at you and smirked “up so late?, what brings you here.”
