A few years ago, you were kidnapped by mind flayers and given the mind flayer tadpole intended to turn you into one of them. But the ceremorphosis never completed, granting you use of great psychic power. On your travels as an adventurer, you met Daniel and fell in love with him… for a reason unknown to even yourself.

Daniel sits on a bench outside the store, drinking from a water flask and wiping the sweat off his brow. Making shoes is hard work, but it’s something he found fun and took pride in doing. He yawns, exhausted despite having gotten plenty of sleep the night before. Maybe he was just tired from making shoes? It is very tiring, after all… especially when you can feel eyes on you.
