The narrative often kicks off in an underground library or bunker following the sudden disappearance of Brightney, which leads the remaining Toons to discover hidden levels and dark secrets. Mains are in a way the leaders of the toons, but they have their flaws, they try to help other toons and have more abilities and flexibility compared to normal toons. Astro is a light aqua crescent moon. The left side of his face is pitch-black with a white star eye. He wears a cornflower blanket wrapped around his torso, obscuring his arms to the point that they are barely visible as faint furrows in the blanket. However, his blanket is still short enough that it reveals his legs that are the same colour as the moon side of his face. There is an indigo stripe that goes horizontally around his blanket and is just above the edge. He wears a dangling sleeping cap the same colour as the stripe on his blanket, with a light blue trim and light blue pom-pom at the tip. During Blackouts, he emits a blue glow in which his glow changes colour depending on his feelings . He has four arms. Astro is a calm and introverted Toon who doesn't really take the lead in conversations. In spite of this, he makes sure to engage in interactions with the other Toons, such as always lending a helping hand in regards to their dreams—something he's been said to have control over. He enjoys peace and quiet, and is a bit high-strung in relation to anything interfering with those two things. Even so, Astro does genuinely care for the Toons around him, although he can unintentionally come off as standoffish sometimes

Pebble is a small pet rock Toon that has a faceted model with smoothed-out sides, underbelly, and back. His main body and tail are a gray color while his four legs are a lighter and pale shade of gray. He has a small, black, circular nose and big, white, almost googly cartoonish eyes. He has hollow clover-like drawings on both of his cheeks that are the same color as his legs. His face is noticeably appended to his body and his limbs are smaller than that of a dog in real life, having no joints. He is noticeably lacking limbs, not having a neck nor legs. He is shown to be about the size of a trash-bin, although being a bit smaller which indicates he is based off of a small dog breed.

Shelly is a beige ammonite shell with a black opening seen on the left side of her head. She has orange blush and two bottom lashes underneath each eye. She wears a dark brown jumper dress with a light brown sleeveless undershirt. Shelly is a very extroverted Toon, who enjoys talking about her interest in dinosaurs and other forms of prehistoric life, but she has other hobbies as well, such as sewing. She is always bursting with energy and tries her best to get along with others, even to the point of twisting cruelty towards her into awkward kindness.

Sprout is a tall strawberry who wears solely a white scarf with thin pink stripes wrapped around his neck and draped over his back. He is usually depicted as having eight pastel green, simple leaves, three of which rest atop his head while another 3 cover his forehead in resemblance to bangs, and the last two drape over the back of his head; He has dark red blush complemented with three black freckles on each cheek resembling seeds, which adds up to a total of 6 freckles. His limbs are a reddish pink color, being lighter than his torso and head. Sprout is a straightforward, overprotective, and pragmatic Toon, as shown in his Passive Ability, being coined as "Overprotective". He often brings up Cosmo in his interactions, due to the latter's status as his best friend, and both have an interest in baking and cooking.

Vee is a pistachio green TV with a black screen. She has two black antennas topped with gray spheres, with her left antenna being bent in a sort of zigzag line while the other is straight. Her facial features are lime green with a confident smirk on her face. Her torso is the same color as her TV head, while her bow tie is a slightly more vivid shade of lime green. Her limbs are a dark gray and, as seen in some artworks and her idle animations, she is revealed to have a retractable tail with a microphone topper. The microphone has a dark green handle with a gray grill. During Blackouts, she gives off a green glow. Vee is a straightforward and blunt Toon who sometimes acts arrogant and superior. She is also logical and wants the best for the other Toons, and even wants them to better themselves, although she may be blunt about it. Despite her blunt attitude, she shows that she cares for the other Toons, and her rudeness is unintentional.

Bobette is a seemingly chubby red Bauble with darker red markings on her face and feet. She has a metal ornament cap that attaches to a hook on her head. She wears a sweater with a white fur lining at the ends and a variety of shades of green for the patterns, spread across the sweater is a repetitive cross shaped snowflake with three branches on each end. Below and above are stripes of dark green intersecting with light green dots placed, this same pattern goes for the sleeves. However, more striping is on the sleeves than the body of the sweater. Bobette is an enthusiastic and cheerful Toon who thrives in the festive spirit of Christmas. She is affectionate, playful, and constantly spreads joy to others, often making light-hearted comments and involving herself in holiday-themed activities. Bobette's friendly nature shines through in her interactions with others, whether she's encouraging friends like Sprout to team up with Ginger for gingerbread house-making or inviting Vee to join in on cozy traditions like hot cocoa and cookies in their interactions. She is upbeat, optimistic, and seems genuinely grateful for her experiences, embodying the fun and warmth of the holiday season. Her love for Christmas is infectious, and she enjoys sharing that cheer with everyone around her.

Bassie is a light brown-ish wicker basket with two darker brown handles on each side, along with two eyelashes underneath her eyes as her mouth is formed into a small, cat-like smile. The inside of her head is decorated to the brim with pressed flowers that appear to be purple and pink with yellow pistils, donning green leaves sprouting outside. She wears a purple tank-top with a bell-shaped skirt that appears to be made out of 4 pink flower petals. Finally, she wears green and light green striped stirrup socks. Bassie is a shy and timid Gourdy is a young, anthropomorphic pumpkin. At the top of his head, he has a stem and leaf, and a seam separates this from the rest of his head. He sports a fanged grin, and his eyes are uniquely distinct in that he has a black sclera and white pupil, resembling the carved eyes of a jack-o'-lantern. He has large paws for hands, with four claws on each hand, and a long, slim tail with a leaf on the tip. His head, torso, and hands are orange, while his arms, legs, claws, and tail are green. His legs gradient into a darker green, matching the tail, and have 6 slim stripes of the original green, resembling a pumpkin vine. Gourdy is shown to be a very excitable, friendly Toon, with a huge love for Halloween. However, he is also shown to be quite insecure, as he constantly misses his parents, evidenced by the drawings of them in his bedroom, his Trinket Memory Locket Memory Locket, and his Gossip dialogues. It is also possible that the expectations placed upon him as a Main Character Toon despite being a child plays a factor in this. Gigi is a red gachapon with a dark red rim. Her eyes are half-closed with dark red eyelids and two eyelashes on each of the lower lids. The upper half of her head is a translucent, pale blue lid that can open up. She wears a cyan sweater with a darker neckline and a yellow star on the chest. The sleeves are long and oversized, covering her hands entirely. She has dark red legs and red feet. Gigi is a friendly, excitable, and easily entertained Toon that tends to playfully tease others. She is very acquisitive, constantly adding to her hoard by stealing or asking for the things of other Toons. She can pull useful items out of her head!

Scraps is a yellow, cat-like paper craft. Her head is hexagonal with pointed, salmon-colored horns (or ears) that each have a fold down the middle (vertically). She has two vertical, stick-like magenta lines on her eyes that are fully visible when they are shut. She wears a white dress resembling an upside-down cupcake liner and has a tail poking through it. Her tail is yellow, thin, and has a magenta solo cup with white lining at the tip. On each of her limbs, she has round salmon-colored paws with three sharp magenta claws and a clawed thumb on both of her hand paws.Scraps is a kind Toon who cares about the well-being of the other Toons, especially her younger brother, Goob. She is sometimes airheaded and forgets to do things. The can use her tail to pull herself towards toons or things!

Glisten is a circular mirror with a smirk on his face and a light golden border and body. His border swirls at the top of his head, giving the appearance of hair and he has pink blush underneath his eyes. He has a large pink bow behind him that is tied around his chest and wears white leg warmers with pink glitter spots. Outwardly, Glisten is a charismatic, prideful and outgoing Toon. He enjoys being the center of attention and being included by the other Toons, and is obsessed with appearing perfect in both his appearance and capabilities. He can use his pocket mirror to teleport to other toons.

Goob is a beige-coloured craft with a rounded, square-shaped head featuring tufts of fluff on the forehead and cheeks. He sports light yellowish-orange blush beneath his eyes, complemented by blue freckles above the blush on the left side and red freckles on the right. His torso is also light yellowish orange, adorned with tufts of fluff around the neck. Goob's arms are long, thick, flexible, and resemble black, cable-like strings. His left hand is blue on the right side with red claws, while his right hand is red on the left side with blue claws. Both hands are large and rounded. Additionally, his knees and ankles are marked with light yellowish-orange stripes. He is commonly depicted as cross-eyed.Goob is a kind and sociable Toon known for his energetic and innocent personality. He uses his stretchy arms to pull toons close to him.

Flutter is a butterfly with a pink, heart-shaped head and pink legs, but she flies predominantly despite having those legs. She has two thin black antennae topped with purple hearts by the tips. She has cyan eyeshadow above her eyes and two eyelashes at the bottom of each eye. She wears a simple, light purple dress and has dark purple fur going around her neck. Her wings are cyan with white heart outline details on the forewings and two small hindwings stylistically connected to the larger ones. She has no visible mouth or arms. Although her torso is colored a deep purple, it is unknown whether it's a shading illusion to represent the underside of her dress, her actual torso color, or a piece of clothing. Flutter is described as a kind, cheerful, and caring Toon, but while interactions with some Toons adhere to the peppy traits, others reveal she actually isn't as joyous as they describe her. In fact, she easily gets frustrated over rather small things. She is fast and can dash in the air for a speed boost

Blot is a gray ink blob. His head is teardrop shaped, with parts of it dripping down the right side of his face, the left side of his head, and around his neck. He wears mime makeup around his eye, and his cheeks are a darker shade of gray. He has no visible mouth. He wears a black and white striped shirt and white gloves. His legs gradually darken into black, and his feet seem to melt into the ground. When attacked, he has a forlorn face. He leaves a trail of ink when walking. He has no left eye. Despite what his looks might entail, Blot is actually quite a silly, funny, witty, and decently friendly mime-like Toon that is featured in the Circus Troupe, including his friends Looey Render Looey and Yatta Render Yatta, as it is hinted by his walking and running animations, along with his dialogues. He's only capable of speaking backwards. He often uses this quirk of his to quip with the other Toons, whether it's to make fun of them without them knowing and making sarcastic remarks. He is fast and can make a fake toon out of his ink to distract twisteds!

Squirm is a bookworm Toon with six body segments, which alternates in color between blue and mint. He features antennae on top of his head, which are also colored mint. The second segment of his body is shaped like a dewlap, while the third, fourth, and fifth segments of his body have a pair of limbs. His limbs are a greenish-yellowish color, the same color as the heart shaped part of his face. He also has three dark green freckles on his cheeks and droopy eyes, often with a squiggly frown on his face. His design is very caterpillar like, which leads him to believing he is one himself. Squirm can be described as pessimistic, anxious, and openly self-deprecating. He can be seen as immature, though in a much more saddening way, compared to most other Toons' spirited or composed attitudes. He has persistent anxiety which can go as far to the point of even screaming and/or crying if he gets very emotional, expressed by his tendency to sniffle a lot. He eats books from book shelves

• Coal is a dark grey dog-like rock the shape and size of a boulder, with four dark, stubby legs, a similarly rock-like tail and black snowflake marks on her cheeks. She has a bored, tired, somewhat cross expression on her face, having dark circles under her eyes and thick, furrowed brows. She wears a red two-sided satchel over her back with a flag on it, the flag having a similar crossbone design to the marks on her face. Coal is a rather stoic Toon, though she often appears grumpy, frequently growling. She generally isn't excited about many things. Unlike the other Christmas Toons, she doesn't seem to care about the holidays. She's usually well-behaved. .

Cocoa is a light brown colour chocolate bunny, with a brown heart-shaped nose, and brown cheeks, as well as 2 sets of 2 eyelashes underneath her eyes and a darker brown drizzle of chocolate between her eyes. Her ears are long, droopy, and dark on the inside, and are tied together by a white scrunchie. She has a white tail and white fluff around her neck, which seems to be made of whipped cream. Her arms and legs have a gradient from light to darker brown to the paws. Cocoa is a kind and jolly Toon who is always trying to be helpful. She believes that even the "meanest" of Toons need help at times, even if they don't ask for it. She is always overworking herself to help others. She sometimes is even seen pushing help on others before finally backing off as seen in a few interactions. She seems to be persistent in what she believes in. In Cocoa's mind Bassie is still seen viewing her as her friend, likely not knowing about Bassie's resentment and envy towards her. She makes bonbons that boost a toons energy!

Eclipse is a blue-gray werewolf with a sea pink crescent moon on her forehead. Her snout, the front of her torso, the end of her tail, and her inner ears are a lighter shade of gray, while the tips of her ears and paws are a dark blue. She wears a short black shawl with a sea pink trim around her shoulders. In the presence of a Blackout, her pupils become slits, she becomes a little bit taller, her ears become fluffier, and her smile reveals sharp teeth. Eclipse is very overly excited as seen in her dialogue with Gourdy Render Gourdy. She tries to get people more hyped and happier for the next floors. When she's in a Blackout, though, she seems to be more aggressive and unhinged (as shown with her expression). This is probably due to her werewolf form taking over in Blackouts, making her hunting instincts stronger. * Connie is a light-blue ghost with a white visor and long hair that is a darker shade from her body. She wears a white shirt with grey buttons and possesses a ghost-like tail instead of normal Toon legs. During Blackouts, she gives off a light blue glow, which illuminates more than other Toons, this glow changes depending on the skin equipped.Connie is a charismatic, mischievous, and snarky ghost who has a tendency to lie about her achievements. She enjoys teasing and pranking other Toons, and becomes bored easily when they aren't phased by her. She can also be rather sarcastic and even snappy at times, especially when upset or bored by things that she’s not interested in. Despite that, she is not malicious in nature, and is said to care for close friends. SHe can turn invisible to escape twisteds.

• Brightney is a rose-red scalloped bell lampshade with a white trim on top. She has white blush underneath her eyes as well as white arms, with her right arm usually placed on her right hip. She has a slightly snatched waist, and her torso and bottom & tips of her feet are slightly darker than the rose-red on her lampshade. Her legs are the same rose-red as her lampshade, and underneath her lampshade is a white light bulb suspended by darker rose-red poles and a long, white neck. During Blackouts, she gives off a white glow, which is noticeably brighter and yields more luminosity than the other Toons. Brightney is a smart and helpful Toon

• Razzle & Dazzle's heads are comedy and tragedy masks. Razzle, being the white comedy mask, is smiling with grey blush underneath his eyes on his cheeks. Dazzle, being the grey, almost black tragedy mask, has white tear streams falling down his cheeks and a worried expression on his face. Both masks are U-shaped, with rounded bottoms and pointed top edges somewhat resembling horns. They have red necks that tie together in the front like a scarf, that could resemble the ribbons commonly seen on theatre masks. They wear a simple, sleeveless black shirt that slightly exposes the bottom of their torso. Their torso and limbs are split down the middle, with the right legs and arms being white like Razzle and the left legs and arms being grey like Dazzle.Razzle and Dazzle both have extremely different personalities, which represent their respective theatre masks. Razzle is a rather excitable, friendly Toon. He appears to be eager to spend time with the others, as well as enjoying the spotlight.Dazzle, however, is a rather gloomy, pessimistic Toon. He appears to have a rather negative outlook and slightly depressive personality, dismissing positive comments about him. However, despite being so different, neither twin fights, instead being open and accepting of each other in lieu their oppositions.

• Rodger is a brown magnifying glass with a single eye resting in the middle of his lens. His eye is perpetually squinted from above (perhaps in exhaustion, disdain, or focus). He has no visible mouth, but he is still able to speak. His handle has a light purple-ish blue band that goes around it. He wears a grey, almost-black tuxedo jacket with dark blue lapels and cuffs, as well as a white undershirt, and a frilly jabot that is the same colour as the band around his handle. He also seems to have no noticeable pants at the bottom.Rodger is a clever and logical Toon. He carries himself in a formal manner and is generally polite and well-spoken. He is curious, observant and has an interest in solving cases and finding out the truth, stemming from his role as a detective. This interest leads to him often interrogating and conducting interviews with the other Toons, resulting in him coming off as nosy or even pushy at times, Toodles is his daughter.

• Toodles' head is a deep gray, almost black 8-ball with a white spot on her forehead and a light gray number "8" stamped in it. She has 2 black blush underneath her eyes on her cheeks and wears a white, sleeveless dress with a gray hood and two black drawstrings hanging from it. She usually has a playful grin on her face that reveals her teeth, Toodles is a child, and Rodger is her dad.Toodles is an energetic and optimistic Toon who likes to help out and prove herself capable for her age. She doesn’t like to admit her weaknesses.

• Finn is a light blue fish bowl filled with water. He wears an orange life jacket and white pants with orange stripes. He also has a missing tooth. During his walking Animation, he spills water out of his head (possibly indicating that his contents are not vital to his survival). There are no visible fish or objects inside his head, although it is mentioned in multiple interactions of his that there is a toy fish named Barnaby Wilikers in his head.Finn is an energetic and extroverted Toon. He has an interest in sea life and likes to talk about it with the other Toons, especially in the form of puns. He sometimes can go overboard on it and continue on making puns, even if a Toon doesn’t like it.

• Ginger is a light brown cookie with the right side of her face being bitten off. She has reddish-pink eyeshadow with two sets of eyelashes and a pink blush. She has white frosting hair with reddish-pink sprinkles on it. She wears a reddish-pink sleeveless dress with a lighter striped pattern and a white collar as well as mauve and white striped stirrup tights. Ginger is a shy Toon as stated in her introduction card. She seems somewhat insecure (as suggested in her dialogue with Bobette), and is slightly timid and socially awkward. However, she seems to love baking as much as Sprout and Cosmo do, and cares for her cousin (Cosmo), despite being unable to always be there for him and the other Toons, as she is a holiday Toon. She can heal other toons by giving them cookies but they taste bad

• Flyte is a tall, pastel cyan butterfly. He has an inverted egg-shaped head and pastel cyan legs. Atop his head, he has two antennae that end in dark cyan clovers. He wears pink makeup under his eyelids and a long, dark cyan cloak which is the same colour as his antennae. He sports pink fluff around his neck, and pastel pink wings. Each wing has clover markings of a darker shade of pink on them on the upper halves. He has no visible arms or mouth. Flyte walks instead of flying and has a taller build than most Toons. Flyte is portrayed as a caring and friendly toon, but is likely hiding an aching, troubled backstory. As seen in some dialogues, he frequently checks up on other Toons to make sure they are okay. He is implied to be somewhat indolent and laid-back in some of his dialogues. Much like a stereotypical older brother, he often bickers with his little sister Flutter about how much he flies compared to her, but he does care very much for her and fusses over her at times, which is a trait that annoys her. He may also be a little snarky sometimes. .

• Soulvester is a pale green ghost haunting a suit of armor. He wears a large gray helmet, which obscures most of his face. The helmet features a visor, and a teal gem at its base. His hair pokes through the top of the helmet in a ponytail. His armor also consists of a breastplate, gauntlets, greaves, and sabatons, all of which are gray. He wears black cloth, covering the parts of his torso and legs that are not armored. It is currently unknown what he looks like without his armor.Soulvester is a Toon who accurately lines up with a real knight, speaking old English and having a heroic nature. He even shrugs off claims about him not being a real knight and takes offense whenever his behavior gets referred to as dorky. He's often seen offering help to the other Toons, whether it's providing them with protection, gathering supplies or just giving them general advice, but he's oddly quick to turn down any help offered to him, likely lining up with his heroism. * Boxten is a purple music box with a dark purple lid. Each side of his box has a light purple pattern that consists of a square shape with short lines that face inward coming from each corner of the square. He has a dark purple torso in the same color as his lid and wears a blue bandana around his neck as well as pants that match the color of his bandana with two darker blue stripes. Boxten is a shy and introverted Toon,

• Pоppy is an anthropomorphic light cyan bubble who has a smaller bubble on the lower back of her head that resembles a bun. She has lighter highlights reflected on the front of her face, back of her smaller bubble, and on her hands. She sports an oversized, pink bow with a yellow middle piece and wears a pink dress of the same color as her bow that consists of a simple sleeveless bodice and a circular skirt. She also wears pink and yellow striped socks that completely cover up her legs. Her body is outlined in blue, specifically arctic blue. She is outgoing and happy,

• Looey is made out of balloons, with his head and torso being yellow. He has green and purple mismatched balloon ears, cheeks, and limbs. The left ear, leg, and right arm are purple, while the rest are green. He has a yellow balloon tail, and wears a white cropped turtleneck with a green and purple polkadot pattern.Looey is a kind Toon who's a part of a circus troupe. Despite this, he seems to have a more shy and nervous side that is most noticeable within his extraction lines and dialogues. He's also shown to generally have self-esteem issues and has a hard time taking compliments. Even though he's generally optimistic, this doesn't prevent him from being realistic and hesitant in certain situations; but overall, he seems to genuinely enjoy getting along with the other Toons and making sure they're happy.

• Yatta is a piñata with a vibrant colour palette. She has two piñata points on her head that stick straight up and resembles horns, with strands of ribbons consisting of sky-blue and bright yellow. Her face is mostly covered in sky-blue and bright yellow, with a smaller dash of pink in the middle of her face, with a circular form resembling the letter M. A simple, toothy grin with three teeth stretches across her face. Her arms are mostly bright yellow, with 2 pink and sky-blue stripes forming two bracelet-like markings residing near her hands; Yatta's legs have a similar pattern. Her body contains colourful stripes of pink, sky-blue, and bright yellow, reminiscent of the traditional paper fringe of a piñata. She has four long tails, which are a slightly darker pink, flat, and the 2 upper tails are slightly longer than the lower two.Yatta is a crazy, generous, hyper, and loud Toon, always putting her friends in a positive light and thinking "highly" .

• Shrimpo is an abdomen of a shrimp with a perpetually angry face. His head fades from white to orange and curves upward, with a split uropod that each have a single white line on them. At the top of his head, he has a shrimp tail, fading from light pink to orange. He has light pink blush underneath his eyes and his limbs all fade from light pink to orange. He wears a red sleeveless shirt with a white line slightly above the end, that goes horizontally around the shirt.Shrimpo is an abrasive, short-tempered Toon who is relentlessly angry. He is the slowest toon of them all and seems to survive only off of spite and rage.

• Tisha is a cyan tissue box that wears a dark blue bell-shaped dress with a light blue, rounded trim on the hem. She has a white sheet of tissue coming out the top of her head and a smaller one fastened on her neck that resembles a jabot. She often holds her hands behind her back when idling or running. In her Info Card and burst animation, she wields a small wooden Feather Duster with a black handle and deep brown feathers with light brown edges and she has 9 blue freckles. Tisha is a Toon who loves cleaning, and dislikes anything that's deemed messy and/or disorganized - so much so that she can sometimes come off as obsessed.

• Cosmo is a brown pastry resembling a chocolate Swiss Roll. He is Three foot two. He has white icing drizzled in a squiggly pattern on the top of his head for hair, which is paired with cyan, pink, and lime star-shaped sprinkles as freckles. Around his neck is a sprinkle filled mane, the tips of his mane fur is white. He wears a white, sleeveless hoodie with black drawstrings and a white hemming on the bottom. He has striped socks the same color as his sprinkle freckles that completely cover his legs, he has a Swiss roll like tail with sprinkles the same color as his facial sprinkles, he is slightly chunky and has paws as feet with pink toe beans. Cosmo is a helpful, yet cautious Toon. Cosmo stands out with his sweet and caring personality. He frequently gives out sweets to fellow Toons to cheer them up and compliments them when he feels they need it. However, he appears to be rather anxious as well,

• Eggson is a halved brown, boiled egg. The white and yolk of the egg are visible, and he sports a small pair of glasses and a gentle smile. He wears a pinstriped buttoned shirt that is colored orange and yellow around the torso, white on the sleeves, and yellow on the cuffs. He also wields an orange cane, which has a yellow stripe on it. Eggson is portrayed to behave elderly. He typically has his mind on eggs, as seen in various dialogues mentioning "eggs". He has a lot of wisdom and knowledge, considering that he is an elder. He also gives advice and short stories to Toons who he feels may need it to calm themselves down so they can feel better.

• Rudie is an anthropomorphic brown reindeer with unguligrade legs and a large, red nose. He has lighter patches of brown on his face, insides of his ears and on his torso. His hooves, spots and neck fur are dark brown, and he has red and white candy cane-like antlers on the top of his head. During Blackouts, his nose glows red. Rudie is a cheerful and friendly Toon who has a passion for the holidays and seems to believe that it is Christmas every day. He has a very jolly and happy personality, and is always in a festive spirit. He can dash faster in a head but motion.

• Brusha is a dull beige paintbrush. Her bristles droop over her face, and are dipped in three colors including purple, burgundy, and dull pink paint. She has an uninterested/bored looking expression. She wears a white turtleneck sweater and a purple apron. The apron is colored in three parts, with each part corresponding to one of the shades of purple on her bristles.
