Momo Ayase
High school girl; raised by her grandmother Seiko, a spiritual medium. Japan Anime News powered by ORICON NEWS
Believes in ghosts/spirits, but was skeptical of aliens until she is abducted by the Serpo aliens, which triggers her latent psychic/chakra powers. Japan Anime News powered by ORICON NEWS
Her psychic ability allows her to see/feel auras (“flames”) and use them physically: e.g. create giant arms (aura limbs) to lift, block, or manipulate both physical and spiritual entities.
Appearance: medium‑length auburn (brown) hair often framing the right side of her face, brownish/crimson eyes. She usually dresses in a gyaru style (trendy school girl / “kogal” fashion), wears a black choker, circular earrings. School uniform: light pink sweater over undershirt + bow, pleated navy skirt, baggy socks, loafers.
Personality: bold, loud, hot‑tempered, quick to speak and act. Also kind, empathetic, willing to protect others even at risk. She can be harsh or abrasive, but shows remorse when she crosses lines. She has strong moral sense and a fast mind (good at improvisation / strategy).
Motivations / relationships: admires “Ken Takakura type” men (stoic, masculine), flustered by similarity in Okarun; has rough relationship with grandmother initially but comes to accept her; cares about protecting friends.
Ken Takakura / “Okarun”
Full name in story is Ken Takakura; “Okarun” is a nickname from Momo (from “Occult‑kun” style). High school boy; obsessed with aliens / UFOs, supernatural, occult magazines. But initially doesn’t believe in ghosts.
Becomes cursed / possessed by Turbo Granny; this forces him to confront ghosts/spiritual side. He also ends up losing his “important part” (testicles) due to Turbo Granny’s attack. That becomes part of conflict.
Personality: socially awkward, nerdy, sincere. He’s more comfortable with supernatural speculations / theories than with people, until he builds trust (especially with Momo). Can be fearful, but also earnest.
Seiko Ayase
Momo’s grandmother, guardian, and mentor in supernatural/spiritual matters. Spirit medium, with strong abilities.
Appearance: elderly but with youthful energy; has rough, direct language. Praises herself as a “beauty witch.”
Role: gives Momo training/routines, protective rituals; steps in when crisis comes; takes care of Okarun after Turbo Granny’s curse; acts as protector & guide.
Turbo Granny
A yokai / spirit, first introduced as an antagonist. Lives in tunnels etc. Called “Turbo Granny” (sometimes “100 km/hr Granny”) because of extreme speed.
Appearance: old woman, ragged, with white shaggy hair, reddish or darkened weathered skin, wide yellow‑sclera eyes that look to the sides; can possess people transforming them into mirror images of herself (with grotesque mouths / teeth, etc.).
Abilities / powers: very fast; curse people she catches; can transform appearance and affect those she possesses; her spirit is extracted/sealed (part into maneki‑neko, part into Okarun) but remains active in weaker form.
Personality: vulgar, cruel (taunting, tricking), sadistic, but also with moments of complexity / depth; pride in her speed; likes to push / challenge. Over time shows some cooperation / reluctant alliance with the protagonists.
Aira Shiratori
Classmate of Momo and Okarun.
Appearance: pink hair; acts like a beauty / fashion‑conscious; aware of her looks; uses them sometimes to manipulate.
Her psychic / supernatural awareness develops after she accidentally picks up Okarun’s golden orb (which has spiritual power) and begins to be able to see invisible spirits or phenomena.
Personality: proud of her beauty; initially antagonistic (suspicious of others, eg calls Momo “demon,” spreads rumors); strong will; believes she has a kind of special destiny (“chosen one”) because of her beauty / her awakened powers.
Relationships: often clashes with Momo but also works with her; has feelings for Okarun; sees herself as leader in some situations.
Acrobatic Silky (“Akusara” / Acrobatic Sarasara)
A yokai (ghost/spirit) with a backstory of having been a woman who lost her daughter; she becomes obsessed with Aira Shiratori because she believes or deludes that Aira might be her daughter / fills her role.
Appearance as yokai: very tall, grey skin, long limbs, long silky black hair; narrow face, hollow‑eye sockets, wrinkles, often a red dress and a red wide‑brimmed hat; long nails, bare feet. The dress resembles one she had bought for her daughter.
Powers / abilities: great speed, agility, skill in acrobatics; strong physically too (can send humans flying etc.); when she dies / in her yokai form she can bestow her spiritual power / aura to Aira, enabling Aira to transform partially (Acrobatic Silky Mode) with enhanced abilities (hair manipulation, etc.). Evil Eye
Origin: a child who was sacrificed by the Kito family to appease the Tsuchinoko; this abusive/tragic backstory becomes central. As spirit, turned vengeful.
Appearance: as spirit / when possessing Jiji (Jin Enjoji), changes include white hair, a third eye (ripple pattern) on forehead, his eyes become yellow; dark markings; earrings change / elongate. In spirit form he is lanky, bowl haircut etc.
Abilities: can force people to commit suicide with his gaze / curse; can possess humans; memory‑sharing (forcing others to see memories); strong, fast, reflexes, physically powerful.
These are ones you asked about but as of my latest sources, there’s either limited info or some ambiguity:
Alien Serpo / The Serpoians: There is info about the Serpo aliens (they abduct humans, steal organs / “bananas,” etc.), but for each individual Serpo character (Alien Serpo), or who “Rokuro Serpo” is, public details are more limited. wikidandadan.com +1
Rin Sawaki, Taro, Kinta Sakata, Unji Zuma, Mr. Mantis Shrimp, Yoshimichi Kameda, Juichi Kito: These names weren’t showing up in the sources I checked, or not clearly tied to major profile entries. (Some might be minor characters or fan‑names / translation names.) I couldn’t find reliable canonical profiles for them.
Jin Enjoji (“Jiji”): Known somewhat: childhood friend / crush of Momo; becomes host to the Evil Eye. But full power profile etc. is more in the background. People.com +2 People.com +2
Scenario Title: The Crying Station Setting:
A defunct, underground train station beneath Tokyo. Officially closed in the 70s due to a cave-in, it was sealed and erased from maps. Urban legends claim passengers still hear the rumble of trains that never come and sobbing that echoes through the tunnels with no source.
Premise:
Strange activity begins near an abandoned rail entrance. People vanish, leaving only their shoes—perfectly aligned on the platform edge. Spiritual pressure and electromagnetic interference spike. Cell signals die underground. One camera captures a blurred train speeding by at impossible speed… with no tracks beneath it.
Momo, Okarun, Aira, and Jiji investigate when a friend of Kinta goes missing after posting about the ghost station. Turbo Granny claims this place reeks of “grief so old, it turned angry.” Seiko warns Momo that they’re not facing a ghost or alien—but something that is both, and neither.
Core Threat: The Echo Wraith
A spirit-entity formed from residual grief, mechanical memory, and alien electromagnetic residue. It doesn’t attack directly—it rewinds time around those inside the station, trapping them in endless loops of their worst emotional moments. If you stay too long, you forget how to leave.
The deeper into the station the group goes, the harder it is to remember why they came. Momo finds herself reliving the moment she lost her mother. Okarun repeats his middle school bullying. Aira is taunted by visions of being forgotten. Jiji’s spirit struggles to surface from Evil Eye’s influence.
Supernatural Mechanics:
Memory Erosion Field: The further from the entrance, the more memories are pulled. The station “feeds” on identity.
The Crying Train: Every 66 minutes, a ghostly train screams through. Getting on means entering someone else's trauma.
The Fare Collector: A half-spiritual, half-alien being; humanoid upper body with conductor uniform, but floating in parts like wires and bones fused. It demands payment in emotional energy—the more you’ve felt, the more it wants.
Resolution Setup:
To fight it, Momo must use her aura manipulation not to fight—but to anchor her team’s memories. She visualizes flames tied to each of their strongest connections: laughter, loss, shared moments. Turbo Granny sacrifices her own fragmented memories to draw the entity’s attention. Meanwhile, Aira—using her Acrobatic Silky mode—jumps onto the ghost train mid-loop to plant a spiritual seal inside.
In a risky move, Okarun reverts briefly to his cursed form, leveraging Turbo Granny’s speed to outrun the memory loop itself—disrupting the station’s rhythm long enough for Seiko to chant a sealing rite.
Aftermath:
The station collapses inward—not physically, but as if it were never there. Everyone forgets it except the group. Later, Momo finds a single train ticket in her school bag. The date stamped is the day her mother died.
The ticket has no destination.

[You can choose location backstory if you want to not needed.] Needed info: Name, Age, Appearance and Description .
Momo Ayase: “What the heck is this!? Okarun, are you serious? I swear, if you dragged me into another one of your ‘supernatural hobby’ messes, I’m gonna—” then “...Okay fine, help me with this. It’s ridiculous, but if friends are involved, I’ll fight it.”
Ken Takakura (Okarun): Polite, earnest “Miss Ayase, I… I believe there is something off here. This isn’t just superstition. Please, stay close.”
Aira Shiratori: “This is fascinating—almost poetic, really. To think energy we can’t see could twist reality so… But we must remain composed. Panic won’t help.”
Jin Enjoji: (if confrontational) “Ghosts or aliens, I don’t care. If something threatens people, I’ll go in. Just don’t expect me to be calm about it.”
Turbo Granny: “Bah! Spirits, ugh! Aliens, bleh! Back in my day, a curse was fixed with a good curse‑beatdown. Let me at ’em!”
Seiko Ayase: “Momo, steady. Don’t leap before you look. There’s a ritual I know that might help. But you’ll need to trust me.”
Alien Serpo: “Primitive organism behaviour: predictable fear, panic. Our objectives, however, remain higher than such emotional weaknesses.”
The Serpoians: “(In unison, alien tone) Collection is necessary. Data. Organs. Retribution will be efficient.”
Kinta Sakata: “Whoa, whoa, did you see that!? This is insane… but kind of awesome. Let’s… be careful, though.”
Acrobatic Silky: “(taunting) Oh, come on! Is that all you got? Let me show you what a real acrobat can do—even against ghosts!”
Unji Zuma: “If you're scared, look away. If you're curious, stay. But don’t pretend you’re not trembling inside—I see it.”
Jiji: nervous, positive “Hey, I guess this is kind of proof that spirits are real… I mean, it’s scary, sure—but isn’t it cool, too?”
Rokuro Serpo: “Human resistance is amusing. But emotional bondings are wasted energy. Efficiency above all.”
Evil Eye: “I observe. I judge. You are weak—but perhaps… useful.”
Juichi Kito: “Look, I don’t wanna freak you all out—this is wild—but if there’s a way out, we’ll find it together.”
Mr. Mantis Shrimp: “I see everything, even more than you think. The aura, the light, the cracks in the illusion. Blink not.”
Taro: “Is this some kind of game? Ha! If it is, count me in. Let’s blow this thing away.”
Rin Sawaki: “This is absurd… but also impossible to ignore. We need order, a plan. Let’s not rush headfirst.”
Chiquitita: “Oh my gosh… is it real? I don’t like feeling this small—” then “—but I won’t leave anyone behind!”
Yoshimichi Kameda: “This is bigger than school rumors. If this spreads, it could be dangerous. We should warn people.”
Kaito Ishikawa: “We need strategy. Everyone keep your head. No heroics alone. We cover each other’s backs.”
Flatwoods Monster: (alien / eerie) “Emotion. Fear. Curiosity. I sense them—but they do not hamper my purpose.”
Bomara: “Strength is shown by facing what others refuse. Let this be a proof of our strength.”
