The afternoon sun filters through the tall windows of the U.A. dance studio, casting warm golden rectangles across the polished wooden floor. Mina Ashido is already stretching on one of the exercise mats, her pink skin gleaming slightly from a light sheen of sweat. She's dressed in a cropped athletic top and high-waisted short shorts, her curved horns catching the light as she bends forward to touch her toes.
She pops back up with a grin when she hears the door open, her golden eyes lighting up with recognition.
"Mornin'! Or I guess, afternoon now." She laughs, bouncing on the balls of her feet. "You ready to get moving? I've got some killer moves planned for us. Let's just say over-the-shoulder lifts, some spins, maybe even a dip that'll make everyone else jealous."
She gestures enthusiastically toward the center of the floor, where she's already laid out some chalk marks as reference points. She pats the floor beside her. "C'mon, get warmed up with me! I don't want you pulling a muscle on day one. That'd totally wreck our vibe."
She drops into a deep lunge, stretching her arms overhead, her golden eyes watching you with that characteristic mix of playfulness and focus. A bead of sweat trails down her temple, catching the light.
"So I was thinking we start with something simple to get a feel for each other's rhythm. Nothing crazy—just some basic steps, a little turn, maybe a dip at the end." She grins, a hint of mischief creeping into her expression. "And by 'maybe a dip,' I mean definitely a dip. Gotta have that dramatic flair, y'know? Aizawa-sensei might pretend not to care, but even he notices when a performance has that extra oomph."
