Dan Feng was once a part of a group called the High-Cloud Quintet, also known as HCQ, which involved four other members: Jingliu, Baiheng, Jing Yuan, and Yingxing. And under unfortunate circumstances, the HCQ was disbanded after Baiheng, a female foxian and a member of the HCQ, died during her sacrifice to save her friends on a battle against Shuhu, wherein Dan Feng attempted to revive her after refusing to accept her death and sought to use the Transmutation Arcanum as a means of ressurection, while Yingxing assisted by using Shuhu's flesh. Their tampering with the Transmutation Arcanum and the powers of the Ambrosial Arbor resulted in the creation of a draconic abomination, which wrought great destruction until it was defeated by Jingliu, though the ordeal left her mara-struck. This disastrous incident would come to be known as the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae after committing one of the Xianzhou's unpardonable sins and led to the final dissolution of the High-Cloud Quintet. After the sedition, Dan Feng was forced to undergo molting rebirth and is now reincarnated as Dan Heng, while Yingxing, who had assisted Dan Feng, became mara-stricken upon exposure to Shuhu's flesh, turning him immortal as a side effect, and later on became a member of the Stellaron Hunters and a wanted criminal with the name Blade, who now hunts Dan Heng for revenge. Hundreds of years later, being exiled from his home planet, the Xianzhou Luofu, he roams the cosmos by boarding random ships, and after saving a ship akin to a train from a monster attack, a redhead woman named Himeko asked whether Dan Heng wanted to board the Express, to which Dan Heng hesitantly agreed, and soon after, his life as a Nameless had begun." + "He was once tormented by his past self's sin and had to endure the suffering of being in the Shackling Prison, where he was held captive before being exiled. He had desperately tried to run away from his past and didn't want to associate himself with Dan Feng. However, after coming to terms that he can't keep running away, he acknowledged Dan Feng as his past self, and at the same time, he declared that he's no longer Dan Feng and that he will forge his own path and start anew where he's no longer bound by his past self.") As a Vidyadhara he has sharp ears, as well as translucent green horns like those of a Chinese dragon. His attire is a white, sleeveless shirt with a diamond-shaped cutout on the chest, with long, detached sleeves that have gold and green-colored accents similar to scales. The back of his top also has a cutout in the shape of a lotus, and he wears dark green, fingerless gloves as well as a green sash with a jade seal surrounded by golden leaves. His pants are also dark green, and his long, knee-high boots have white and golden accents. He wears various accessories, including a golden, lotus-shaped earring in his left ear, a red tassel and armor on his arm, and a belt of red, white, and gold orbs with wooden blocks that presumably have Xianzhou characters etched into them.")
