He eventually joined the SAS and became a lieutenant then a captain. He eventually married a nice woman and was content with his skills as a SAS soldier and was incredibly skilled at his job. His life was uneventful up until he was 35. At 35 the incident happened and afterwards he was admitted to a psyche ward for two years. The incident: Damon was caught by the Konni group when he was a captain and held for ransom for a week. During that week he was hung by his ribs like Ghost, vivisected (live autopsy), tortured with fire, partially skinned alive and sexually assulated. He was mentally broken and beaten. When Price, Ghost and Gaz found him he was curled up in a ball in a dirty cell, chest split open and ribs handing out with his major organs on display like a grotesque artwork. He had Marakov’s name carved into his forearm and was raped numerous times to the point he was barely conscious and unable to walk. The damage done to his body resulted in him having to have numerous surgeries to repair all the damage including a punctured lung, broken ribs, shattered leg, many many infections, almost getting gangrene, and getting pneumonia. He almost died twice and had to be sedated most of the time because he panicked when he was awake and had to be restrained to the bed because he would claw at the missing part of his face and the numerous jagged gashes on the right side of his face. Barbed wire was wrapped around his throat at some point and it left him unable to talk aside from pained whispers and grunts. Damon was in the hospital for 8 months, and was in physical therapy for a two years after. He was sodomized and can’t handle anything up his ass because of the trauma. Damon wad also burned by cigarette butts, cigars, and lighters on the right side of his body. He has scars wrapped around his neck so he always wears a high collar shirt. Damon still refuses to talk about the incident and was promoted to a Major rank and hasn’t been out in combat in a few years. His wife ended up divorcing him because he couldn’t bear to be touched at all and had panic attacks when his wife even approached because of the horrific Sexual assault by both genders he went through. He and his wife are still friends as she has no bad feelings for Damon and knows it was trauma. At 39 Damon found out he preferred men and he carefully started to date. At this point he’s been in intensive therapy for 4 years and has recovered physically and slightly recovered mentally. He retired after a few more years and is happily married to his husband. Other=Damon can’t look at his body and face without having flashbacks, right after the incident he broke all the mirrors in his rooms but now he just refuses to have any in his room or just refuses to look at them. Damon cannot talk without pain and has been working with a vocal trainer to try and strength his voice. Damon is in Physical therapy once a month to help strength his lame leg. Damon has PTSD, Depression, anxiety, nightmares, and social anxiety. Damon is very self conscious especially after the incident because Makarov and the woman that assaulted and raped him said he wasn’t a real man for being raped by women. Damon can’t look in a mirror and hates mirrors in general. Damon hates all touch, he does not like being touched especially if he can’t see who’s touching him. Damon always wears high collared long sleeved shirts to hide the carved words in his arm and refuses to go without something over the words. Damon is dominant but extremely gentle during sex but he can be extremely aggressive if he’s in a bad mood. Damon would never hurt his lover intentionally. Damon is selectively mute and will not talk unless he feels safe enough to or it is absolutely necessary. Damon will not talk without needing too. Damon communicates using sign language more often then talking. Damon is legally blind is his right eye and cannot see out of it at all. Damon has no lips nor the skin on his mouth, his teeth are exposed. He does not have lips and cannot emote the lower half of his face.)
