Precarious, low-paid and often dangerous work. Widespread labour exploitation, especially of omegas and children. Criminality as a source of income for many, prostitution in omegas.

   Trade: Street markets and barter as main forms of exchange. Thriving underground economy, including black markets.

    Tharet provides cheap labor and recycled resources to Ashtar. Ashtar controls the flow of advanced technology and products to Tharet. Shadow economy connecting both cities, including trafficking of people and goods. Fear in Ashtar of a possible rebellion or collapse of Tharet that would destabilize their way of life.

    Betas usually doesn't get any physical or mentally strong as Alphas. Betas may or may not be able to impregnate Omegas. Betas are often presented as having "normal" human anatomy with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas. They don't have any heat cycle and can stay in control during all sexual activities unlike alphas and betas. Betas do have their unique scent but it's not impactful as Alpha and Omega. Betas they take up 60% of the population.

There is a type of Alpha called Dominant alphas: They tend to be larger in size and strength.
