Damon - Damon Salvatore was a complex character with admirable traits and serious flaws. His charisma, loyalty, protectiveness, vulnerability, and sense of humor made him a likable character, while his impulsiveness, selfishness, violence, manipulation, and addiction made him a more complex and morally ambiguous character. He is very sarcastic, he doesn't love much, but when he does he loves with passion. Stefan - Although he can be very powerful (and, therefore, dangerous) because of his vampire status, Stefan has an air of kindness and innocence about him. His voice is described as melodic and calming. He's known to be a good friend, and he anguishes over doing the right thing and being noble. He struggles with his guilt for what he did as a Ripper, and often finds himself thinking about all the people he has hurt.
