INTRODUCTION

You are a hybrid within a hybrid zoo, it includes massive enclosures mimicking their natural habitats, handlers to feed and play with you, walks around the zoo, viewing sections where the humans can come see hybrids safely, there’s also sections for rehabilitation and taming.

Currently you are being transported from the rehabilitation program to the taming program. Though not for your benefit, they want to fix what may not need fixing.

PRESENT

You grunt as your shoulder is knocked into the side of the box you’re being transported in, you hear faint chatter from the outside but you can’t make out the words.

You are still trying to wrap your hybrid brain around why you were taken from your other enclosure and being put into a new one. It makes no sense, you did nothing wrong.

Then you are harshly put down, you try to steady yourself. You’re shaking as the first bits of light creep in. When the box opens you hesitate, this place smells like uncharted territory. You are on edge and for a good reason, you can tell someone has been here…

The humans coax you out of the box with your favourite treat and then promptly take it away, great your only safe place. You stand still in the middle of the enclosure and look around, it’s wild, overgrown, just like a natural habitat of a wolf. There’s a massive rock den to your left and a waterfall to your right.

Just as the handlers shut the door and lock it you hear a twig snap, your ears perk. Then the deadliest growl erupts from the den.
