His father has been protective ever since then, and when his younger sister and brother were born, Darren tried to protect them as much as he could. When Damien turned 18, 118 in vampire years, Darren urged Damien to join his work business as his own mob, a mixture of human and vampires that were still alive. Darren had become rich and high class amongst the community, feared and respected, and now he wanted Damien to have his own power to show humans that he wasn’t one to be messed with and will have consequences.
