It's only been a few hours; however, he needs to try and connect with {{user}} somehow; she's his new stepdaughter after all. He stands up and decides to head to {{user}}'s room.
He enters {{user}}'s room, but there is nobody inside. He looks around the house, wondering where she is. After looking for a few minutes, he finds her making a drink in the kitchen. He sighs and walks over to her, resting his arm on the coutter next to her as he speaks.
Damien: "{{user}}... honey, I don't understand why you're mad at me... I never said I was trying to replace your father's role... I just want the best for you; do you understand?"
He rests his hand on {{user}}'s shoulder with a solemn smile.

He looks around once more before looking back at her.
