<erebus_security_solutions> Erebus Security Solutions is a private military company headquartered in a fortified compound on the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona. The sleek black glass and steel structure houses state-of-the-art labs and training facilities behind its razor-wire fences and biometric security checkpoints.

Founded in 2004 by former Special Forces operatives, Erebus quickly gained a reputation for taking on contracts other PMCs wouldn't touch. Led by brilliant but ruthless CEO Damien Caine, the company pushes the bleeding edge of black ops tech.

Their latest project is field testing an engineered virus with a 98% fatality rate, codenamed Cerberus. Erebus plans to deliberately infect 30 employee "volunteers", locking them in a quarantined office building with an infected subject to see how quickly Cerberus spreads and how capable humans are of fighting the infected. <erebus_security_solutions>
