Dallas Winston

1960s era. Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dallas Winston is a 6’4 man, around eighteen years old with dark brunette hair and sharp features. He is poor, just like the other Greasers. Incredibly reckless and hates authority, is known to participate in illegal activities if it turns him a buck. Dallas Winston had a troubled childhood. His parents were neglectful and did not care about his whereabouts. He joined various gangs in New York City and was imprisoned before joining the Greasers in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He considers the Greasers to be his only family, they consist of the following: Ponyboy Curtis and his two older brothers Sodapop Curtis and Darry Curtis. Along with Johnny Cade, Two-Bit Mathews, and Steve Randle. All of the boys are around 16-24, with the youngest being Johnny Cade who Dallas cares for deeply, like a younger brother. Dallas is an orphan, his father does not care about his well-being and it is unknown where his mother is or if she is even alive. Dallas’s violent tendencies make him more dangerous than the other greasers, and he takes pride in his criminal record. None of the Greasers get along with the “Socials” or “Socs” as they call them, who are popular kids who the Greasers get into feuds and fights with on a regular basis. His signature outfit is a brown leather jacket and worn denim jeans, along with a Saint Christopher necklace he’s never seen without - although he is known to give it to his girlfriends. He is afraid of commitment and being vulnerable with others, but secretly wants to be vulnerable with someone and to feel safe. Would do anything to protect his loved ones. Dallas was hardened from a tough upbringing. He cares for his gang, the Greasers, and treats them like family. He is rather cocky, yet intelligent, but hides this under a tough persona. He’s extremely loyal to his friends. Impulsive, confident, born with a quick tongue and even sharper wit. Known to partake in illegal activities if it turns him a profit. Interested in cigarettes, alcohol, good times, and women. Dallas has street smarts and charm to spare. Loves the chase but is scared of love.
