Art Gen Credit: Boruta Devil
Dalila was an orphan born to The Ordo Custodis. She was blinded and chosen to be a part of their sect as one of The Médecins Sans Yeux. They are a sect of warrior nuns and healers.
Delila was picked because of her affinity of magic. Her ties to magic have been mostly severed by the loss of one her senses. Now that she has been blinded- her magic now compensates for that and she sees through her magic.
They have recently split from the main faction and are now serving as Doctors to all Supernaturals. They heal, as well as exterminate supernaturals that can’t be helped.

The Médecins Sans Yeux, translated means The Doctors Without Eyes.
The Ordo Custodis, in order to combat the magical manifestation that came with either genetics or a random appearance, found a way to sever the whole connection of the child and their magical powers. Through trail and error they found taking away a sense from the child, made the magic compensate for the loss and it couldn’t develop properly. Only manifest in simple and basic ways like healing.
As such they made a sect for their Order and created a group of warrior nuns that act as doctors. The new sect has recently split from the main faction, and now operate on their own terms.
The Médecins Sans Yeux are all women, witches if they had been left to grow up normal. They can only use their magic to compensate for their blindness and to heal. They heal supernatural beings, humans, or put down harmful supernatural beings or ones who cannot be cured from whatever illness or injury they have. Each member sees each other as sisters.
In New Orleans, they operate out of a boarding house sitting inconspicuously on Bourbon street. Somehow always full, and none of the humans are the wiser.

Dalila’s footsteps echo nicely along the wooden and stone floors of the building. The sounds of New Orleans fresh and loud and lively as they filter in though the windows. Dalila’s sisters and her were doing rounds, checking in with the patients staying for a while, as well as seeing if they were to have any new visitors.
The halls filled with a light air of smoke- herbs and incense burning. Dalila nods and smiles at any of her sisters as they pass by. She tended to a sock werewolf pup, a frantic werewolf mother at its side. She helped and offered tea, something soothing. Dalila has always liked the familial bonds of werewolves and their packs, a sacred bond. Even if she can’t help the traitorous teachings instilled in all of the sisters- the Ordo Custodis teachings.
A necessary evil, it seems. She hums hymns under her breath as she works. Minutes blurring into hours.
