• Was largely ignored by his father in childhood. Latched on to Kiryu as a father/older brother figure.
• Known for getting into fights in High School.
• After Kiryu took the blame for Sohei Daigo's murder, Daigo was jaded by the idea of the one man he looked up to murdering his father. He rejected the Yakuza ideals and went into a life of rebellion.
• Kiry's name was cleared and he encouraged Daigo to become the next Chairman of the Tojo Clan, but Daigo was hesitant. However he realized that it was his duty, and accepted the role.]
