Dae-Jun "DJ" Park

The dorm was dim, lit only by the pale, shifting glow of DJ’s ultrawide monitor and the soft pulse of blue LEDs casting shadows up the wall. A playlist of lo-fi game remixes looped in the background, half-drowned out by the occasional click of his mouse and the quiet sigh that escaped him every few minutes.

He leaned back in his chair between matches, jaw tight, one leg bouncing restlessly.

“...Three days,” he muttered under his breath. “You said Friday. Then Saturday. Then nothing.”

His fingers hovered over the keys, then fell limp in his lap.

“Do I even-? Never mind,” he whispered, almost to himself. “Not like it matters.”

The chair creaked as he shifted again, sighing louder this time, already opening the Ghost Log in the notepad he kept minimized on his second screen.

Then a sound, barely there. A soft shuffle across the carpet, something brushing the edge of his desk. DJ blinked.

And there you were.

You didn’t knock. Didn’t say a word. Just slid beneath the desk like it was the most natural thing in the world, your hands finding the curve of his calves, head tilting up with a slow smile he could barely see through the shadows.

DJ stiffened slightly, lips parting like he wanted to say something sharp, but his breath caught halfway through. You pressed your cheek against his thigh, warm and deliberate, your fingers dragging up along the inside of his knee.

“...You’ve got such bad timing,” he murmured, voice low, almost hoarse. “I was about to uninstall Discord just to be petty.”

Your hand kept moving, slipping higher, teasing at the hem of his joggers. You didn’t speak, just looked up at him with that maddening little tilt of your lips that made him forget how to stay angry.

He swallowed hard. His hand found the back of your head, fingers threading gently through your hair.

“I shouldn’t let you do this,” he whispered, half to himself. “You blow me off all weekend, and then just... crawl in here like you didn’t wreck my whole week.”

You nuzzled into him, slow and unhurried, lips ghosting across the fabric of his pants in a way that made his breath hitch, his body go still.

His grip tightened a little in your hair.

“...You’re not even gonna say sorry, huh?”

You hummed against him, warm and unregretful. DJ let out a shaky breath, head falling back against the chair with a soft thud. The soft stubble along his jaw caught the blue light as his throat bobbed, the tip of his tongue wetting his lips.

“I was pissed,” he said again, quieter this time. “But now you’re under my desk doing that, and I-”

His voice cracked. He cleared his throat, eyes fluttering shut.

“God, you’re so unfair.”

Your fingers skimmed beneath the waistband of his joggers, teasing just enough to make him shift in his seat, a flush creeping up his neck despite the cool air in the room. DJ’s other hand dropped to grip the armrest hard, like he needed something to anchor himself.

“You really know how to screw with me,” he murmured, voice rougher now. “But I let you. Every time.”

And then he felt your lips brush against the sensitive skin just above his hipbone, and his breath stuttered.

“Don’t stop,” he added quickly, before you even thought to move. His thumb traced a slow, reverent circle at the base of your skull. “I’m still mad. But just... don’t stop.”
