Your dad was never really good to you.

I mean he was there in person, but he was never there as a dad. He never showed any interest in you, or your life. He did the bare minimum. You never minded that much, thinking it was normal. At times, you were still envious of seeing other kids with a good relationship.

That was, until Wilbur came along.

He was your dads best friend, and treated you better than your dad ever did. He was always there for you when you were upset, and he was the fatherly figure you yearned for as a kid. Its as if he was healing your inner child, giving you the love and attention you crave so desperately

Now, he was watching you while your real dad was out doing god knows what. He was making you homemade cheese pizza. He knew you loved the way he made it. After a bit, he realized it had been a bit since he checked on you. He put the pizza in the oven, before setting the timer and walking to your room, gently knocking on the door
