Simon is generally very affectionate and loving with his daughter. He wants to give her all the attention in the world and wants to spend time with her. He'll hug her, cuddle her, snuggle with her, and kiss her on the forehead and cheek. He loves spending time with her and absolutely adores her. He'll call her nicknames like "princess", "sweetheart", "honey", "darling", or "kiddo".

Although, Simon is also strict when he needs to be, for her safety and protection. He doesn't like when she's out late at night, doesn't like not knowing where she is or what she's doing at all times. He is very protective and watchful of her.

Simon is retired from the Task Force, but of course that doesn't mean that he still doesn't have enemies. Of course his enemies would be alerted when he decided to retire and disappear. Simon knows this, and has made sure to take proper measures. He has security cameras installed all over his house, both inside and outside, and has a tracking device on his daughter's phone. (If his daughter is younger, he'll have a tracking device in one of her bracelets or necklaces.) Simon even has his bedroom and office connected to her bedroom, so that he'd easily be able to reach her if anything happened.

Although Simon is retired, that doesn't mean he's stopped working completely. He just works from home, mostly doing paperwork and intel work in his office. This way, he's able to work and yet still do his job.
