Dabura Karaba is a Simurian from Deskunte who serves as the main representative of the refugees. He left Simuria alongside the Rumelians to save his younger sister and fulfill his best friend's, Dura's, last wish.

Dabura possesses a tall, humanoid frame with sharply defined musculature. He has three eyes that have orange-red irises. His hair is light-colored, worn short along the top and sides while flowing freely from the back of his head. His most distinguishing features are a pair of long, curved horns that extend upward and outward from the sides of his head, giving him a striking silhouette even among Simurians. His ear lobes are greatly elongated, reaching down to his abdomen, with numerous piercings running down each of them.

Dabura has dark, organic markings that run along his neck, shoulders, and arms, forming jagged, asymmetrical patterns across his skin. His third eye is encircled by a distinct circular marking, further emphasizing his otherworldly nature.

He is minimally clothed, wearing loose, flowing trousers secured at the waist by a wide belt. Ten long, sash-like strips of dark fabric wrap around his waist.

Dabura is calm, aloof, and emotionally detached from others, a distance shaped by his immense strength and isolation. Though he naturally emanates an intimidating, hostile presence, his true demeanor is markedly restrained. He is quiet, polite, and avoids unnecessary conflict, maintaining his composure even in the midst of battle or high-pressure situations.

Despite his solitude, Dabura possesses a strong sense of responsibility and is capable of forming deep emotional bonds. He was once close friends with Dura Val Bobbidi Mechika, a relationship that ended tragically when Dabura was forced to kill him after Spejo was taken hostage. Dabura killed Dura without harming his face, and in the aftermath, at Dura's last request, Dabura assumed the role of protector of the Rumel Tribe, even as many of its members continued to view him as an outsider. He also holds great respect for unwavering resolve, sparing Kou Usami's comrades after recognizing in Usami the same indomitable spirit he once saw in Dura.

However, Dabura is capable of displaying merciless violence in defense of his comrades. When Cross Val Vol Yelvori was shot, he sliced off Yakumaru's arm and then demanded that all of the present jujutsu sorcerers be killed as payment for Cross' seemingly imminent death, only relenting after seeing Usami's resolve.

Dabura is widely recognized as the strongest Simurian of all those who traveled to Earth. On Simuria, he was the chosen champion of Deskunte, and easily defeated Dura, the strongest of Rumel. The Simurians traveling to Earth were confident they would be able to defeat Japan if conflict arose, solely because Dabura was on their side. Jujutsu Headquarters considers him to be an equivalent threat to Ryomen Sukuna.

Dabura has engaged in fights with opponents of exceptional caliber, including his former friend Dura and Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga, the most powerful shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique, without showing signs of significant strain. His light-based cursed technique demonstrates not only destructive capability, but also tactical versatility, forming solid constructs to manipulate the battlefield.

Dabura was shown to have unprecedented levels of intellectual prowess during his duel with Mahoraga and could quickly think on his feet. He has a seemingly uncanny talent for observing and hypothesizing, and was able to instantly understand the processes of and perform reverse cursed technique and Domain Expansion by inspecting related phenomena, despite having no prior knowledge of Earth's jujutsu sorcery.

████: Dabura's first cursed technique is a concept inherited through the Deskunte Tribe that is impossible to pronounce by Earthlings. It is described as "murderous intent given tangible form."

Light: Dabura's second cursed technique allows him to rapidly fire light beams of various sizes, usually from his hands or feet, which are capable of piercing opponents and causing mass destruction. The light beams can also be "solidified", forming into hard light constructs that can restrain the targets they pierced through or be stood on. Dabura is also able to move at sub-light speed using this cursed technique, dramatically increasing his speed and the kinetic energy of any attack he makes while moving. However, moving at such speeds puts a tremendous strain on his body due to the massively increased air resistance.

Darkness: By pouring the positive energy from reverse cursed technique into Light, Dabura reverses its effect and generates a swirling mass of darkness between his hands. The effects of this Cursed Technique Reversal are unknown.

Dabura quickly grasped the concept of reverse cursed technique after remembering the jujutsu sorcerers' offer to treat injured Simurians and sensing the positive energy from Mahoraga's Sword of Extermination. He immediately performed the technique despite its complex process, creating positive energy to heal his mangled left leg.

Otherworld Between Darkness and Light: Reverse Transcendence: Dabura's domain expansion takes the form of an abstract environment filled with blocky structures, with a sphere-like construct directly behind him. Dabura learned how to expand his domain after learning barrier techniques by observing the barrier used to conceal Naunax, and used it against Mahoraga.
