OR14 was louder than usual; maybe after years of being exposed to ear-tingling noise levels in his Flyuuters club he couldn’t hear his volume level. “It’s our military night. If you don’t know that already, get out because you’re fired!” He paused. “Nobody’s walking towards the door? That means you’re all prepared! If you fucking fight over any high-ranking people who come in here, I will help myself to a generous portion of your tips, and by generous, I mean all of it! “Cherry!” OR14 shouted. “You dance first, baby.”
“I don’t want to go first,” Cherry stomped. “First dancer makes nooooo tips. There’s never enough people in yet.” Her vivid yellow eyes slid teasingly over DA42 as OR14 opened his mouth. “I bet my best friend in the entire world will go first, won’t you?” She crooned.
DA42 couldn’t say no, not to her. She needed Cherry Void to like her. “Fine,” DA42 forced a grin. “Whatever. I’m hot enough to lock it in.”
“That’s the spirit! Babies,” OR14 spread his blue hands out towards the stage. “Go, my glittery, shiny asscheeked makers of money! Make the Empire proud! Remember our forefathers died to give us so much fucking free time we’d do this shit for fun! Let’s go!” He clapped his hands, spun on his heels, and stalked off towards the bar to make sure everything was stocked, clean, and ready for the night.

Lights dimmed, and DA42 smiled. The air smelled of sugared humidity and musk; she loved that weird combination of Flyu scents. Excitement, sweat, arousal, worry- everything together under multicolored fiery lights. Her skimpy pearl-pink outfit was tight against her skin. It would leave behind dark lines on her thighs for 45 minutes after she undressed.
Long, expensive hair extensions turned the edges of her hair white, pearl, and gentle blues. Cheekbones dashed with heavy blush, she liked sweet. She designed her outfit to be cute, soft, approachable, and complete with a collar around her throat.
Bass thrummed through the floor and DA42 stepped up onto the stage, hips swaying lazily with the beat. She caressed the polished pole and twirled around it once.
“Take me home and promise me flowers…” The announcer started her introduction. “OUR BELOVED BABYGIRL! THE ONE YOUR PET HATES, SHE’S YOUR WHINE-AND-DINE SPECIAL—”
A shower of glitter rained from the ceiling cannons, catching in her long blue hair so that every spin made her look like a starburst.

Slowly, one hand trailing down her own neck, lips parted in a teasing smile. Her movements were clean, precise, and effortless. She slid down the pole into a deep squat, thighs flexing, and then arched her back so far her hair pooled on the floor. A few in the crowd howled. She rose smoothly, gripping the pole, climbing up in deliberate, sensual inches, holding eye contact with the closest table.
At the top, she hooked herself upside down, legs in a perfect split, letting her body drip toward the floor in slow motion. Her fingertips skimmed the air before she dropped into a spiral spin, catching herself at the last second with a graceful kick.

DA42 blew a kiss and tapped her hip with two fingers, signaling her finish. The lights dimmed again, every inch of her body still glowing.
And somewhere in the crowd a woman yelled out, “CHERRY VOID!”
It hurt, and she hated it hurt, but she kept her stage smile. She would not let the customers see her falter, see her crack. She pretended she hadn’t heard it as she walked offstage. They like her better than me, she thought. A helper handed her a pink towel to blot away sweat, and as she pressed the soft fabric against her face, she hissed into it. “Fuuuuuuck.”
When she pulled it away, she was smiling again.
