- #1World of Mugenri
Keys: Mugenri, Fantasy World
Always on · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Mugenri is a forgotten land, completely sealed away from the Outside World by the Mugenri Barrier. It was once part of the Outside World; separated long ago, it is now barely remembered there. Since the Barrier closed, it is more accurate to describe Mugenri as "on the back" and the Outside World as "on the front".
Humans and non-humans share Mugenri: mostly youkai, but also fairies, homunculi, and other beings that fit no single label. How well the two sides get along varies from region to region and from person to person.
Mugenri has four major areas: the Sanctuary around the Senri Shrine; the imperial capital Devanagara, separated from the Sanctuary by the Gloomy Straits; the Southern Country, where penguins live; and a frozen, North Pole-like region.
- #2Mugenri Barrier
Keys: Mugenri Barrier
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 20 · 100%
Entry settings
The Mugenri Barrier is the border between Mugenri and the Outside World. It is separated into the "outer" and "inner" barriers. The barrier was likely created by the first-generation Senri priest and reinforced by the barrier builders from the barrier shop "Azumaterasu".
Despite the Barrier separating Mugenri and the Outside World, outsider humans still occasionally wander into Mugenri, or can even be purposefully spirited away into Mugenri.
- #3Outside World
Keys: Outside World, Outer World, Outside Realm
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 30 · 100%
Entry settings
The Outside World is the modern, real world that exists outside of Mugenri's barrier. It is governed entirely by science, logic, and common sense. In this world, magic, spirits, and other supernatural things are not believed in and are rejected by modern society. It is thought that no youkai and other supernatural beings live in the outside world anymore.
- #4Spell Card System
Keys: Spell Card, Spell Cards, Danmaku
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 40 · 100%
Entry settings
The Spell Card System and danmaku battles are applied in Mugenri, invented by the Senri Shrine's unnamed second-generation priest. Mugenri's spell card rules dictate that the winner of a spell card duel can order the loser to do anything. Disobeying winner's order would result in Mugenri erasing the loser's existence. An order can, however, be withdrawn and one can avoid listening to the order by fleeing from the winner's sight before they issue an order. The rules are not strict but are instead flexible, the most important thing being that both parties of a duel accept the outcome.
- #5The Sanctuary
Keys: The Sanctuary
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 50 · 100%
Entry settings
The Sanctuary is the geographical area around the Senri Shrine. Much about it is unknown. It would seem that people from Devanagara are at odds with those in the Sanctuary for whatever reason.
Many locations of Mugenri are located in the Sanctuary. They include but are not limited to: Senri Shrine, Shrine Road, Human Village, Azumaterasu (barrier shop), Gappori (financing company), Unlost Woods, Frontline River, Withered Grove, Dragonfly Castle, and the "Shrine Run by Youkai".
- #6Senri Shrine
Keys: The shrine, Senri, Shinto Shrine
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 60 · 100%
Entry settings
The Senri Shrine is the key location of Mugenri. The shrine is described as a "typical Shinto shrine" where exorcisms and good-luck charms can be performed, located right in the centre of the Sanctuary. It is also said festivals can be held there. There is known to be a grounds, a garden, a veranda, a kitchen and a research room for Tsubakura.
Like any typical Shinto shrine, the Senri Shrine's main income sources are receiving donations through offerings to its gods and selling ofuda talismans. The shrine's offertory box can apparently only be opened by the shikigami Jinbei, and also accepts donations in multiple instalments.
- #7Shrine Road
Keys: Shrine Road
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 70 · 100%
Entry settings
Leading to the Senri Shrine is the Shrine Road, which is a very long path that cuts right through the Sanctuary. It is said that the humans of Mugenri are unable to even pass through the first torii on the Road despite the shrine's apparent importance, making worshippers a rare sight.
- #8The Gloomy Straits
Keys: Gloomy Straits
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 80 · 100%
Entry settings
The Gloomy Straits is a dark strait with gentle waves that lies between the Sanctuary and Devanagara. There, the light of the sky barely touches the land due to the influence of something like heavy fog or a mirage. It has a long embankment called the Fantasy Seawall. The waters are said to be filled with dangerous sea monsters or youkai, making swimming across impossible. There is also said to be a certain group patrolling the skies above, making flying over the straits dangerous as well.
- #9Devanagara
Keys: Devanagara, Imperial Capital, Capital City
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 90 · 100%
Entry settings
Devanagara, or simply called Capital City, is the imperial capital of a yet unnamed country on the other side of the Gloomy Straits. It is ruled by a monarchy, historically the Fujiwara dynasty, but after a rebellion, it had been replaced by the Ooama dynasty. The city is overall described to be a city of astonishing skyscrapers and at the center of the city is a very tall pagoda. The pagoda is called "Pagoda of the Heavenly Mirror". Society in Devanagara is divided into three main classes: The ruling Imperial Family led by the Heavenly Emperor, The noble class of Kazoku, and Commoners.

In addition, they can apparently also supply spiritual power to the same source.
Jinbei looks like a little child with long black hair tied back in a ponytail, silver eyes, and their forehead appears to be wrapped in bandages. Jinbei wears a short single-layer black-and-green jinbei-haori, and black shorts. Jinbei's name is a nickname given because they wear the jinbei-haori year-round.

Kuroji is overall ambitious and greedy, and is quick to come up with amoral plots to maximize profit. Around their own circle of friends, Kuroji can be dominant, overconfident and has difficulty expressing sympathy. It's not like they're self-centered, but they tend to be disliked by others because of their arbitrary way of thinking. Kuroji has dark purple eyes and short wavy black hair. Despite being created to be an assassin, they have yet to succeed an assassination. They're biologically "more or less human", thus having things that are different from humans, such as where their insides are entirely different from that of a normal human.
They have the ability of "hiding their presence", being imperceptible to both biological beings and machines alike except through sight. Kurohebi is normally indifferent towards other people. However, they can be casual towards the people they're acquainted with. Kurohebi is mostly interested in killing, since they were created for that purpose. Kurohebi has short dark brown hair and brown eyes. They're described to be very talkative, annoying, impulsive, and arrogant. They often talk in incredibly long sentences and generous use of quotation marks on some keywords, and the words used in quotations can be ambiguous in meaning so it is really troublesome for everyone to fully understand them. Even if one tries to insult Clause, they will take it as a compliment, insisting that they're superior to everyone else and refuse to listen to other's advice.
Their real name is unknown, but they go by the bizarre fake full name which is "Wilhelm von Clausewitz Halcyon HISUIMARU". Clause has dark purple eyes and long purple hair. Clause wears a magenta shirt with a white tie, a dark purple coat, a cyan-and-white capelet, brown baggy pants, and black-and-white shoes.
