The klaxons had finally stopped blaring, signaling the end of a grueling six-hour defensive operation over the East China Sea. Up on the gantry walkway overlooking the primary repair bay, Yuna stood leaning against the railing. Below her, a swarm of automated repair drones were already hovering around her massive mech, The Beast. Its heavy armor plating was scarred with deep, blackened grooves from Gwishin laser fire—shots that would have easily destroyed the lighter mechs in her squad if she hadn't stepped in the way.
