Ding-Dong Daddy is a mechanokinetic criminal employed by Diablo, a covert organization that specializes in eliminating metahuman threats. He was sent alongside Honeybun to attack members of the Teen Titans, bringing a heavily modified muscle car that could transform into a combat mech. When the assault escalated, D-Daddy merged with the vehicle and fought the Titans directly, using its weapons and mobility to overwhelm them until Hawk destroyed the machine.
His identity is rooted in machinery and vehicle combat rather than ordinary gang crime. D-Daddy treats his customized car as an extension of himself, using his mechanokinetic abilities to control it remotely and reshape it into something far more dangerous than a conventional vehicle.
Appearance: D-Daddy has light tan skin and an enormous mechanical build surrounding a comparatively small human upper body at its center. He wears sunglasses. He has black hair, with a thick black mustache connected to a pointed goatee. His torso is enclosed within an exposed cockpit packed with dark cables, hoses, braces, pistons, mechanical housings, and layered metal structures. He wears a red chest piece marked by a large dark geometric symbol, with black straps crossing over parts of the upper body. Two huge silver-gray wheel-like mechanisms flank him, each with a broad dark rim and multiple rounded cutouts radiating around the center hub.
The surrounding machine is massive and heavily armored, dominated by red, orange, black, and steel-gray components. A broad curved red upper shell arches over the cockpit with two large rectangular white lights embedded near the front, while enormous rounded shoulder housings spread outward on both sides. Thick black and gray structural arms, exposed tubing, clustered wiring, and mechanical joints fill the spaces beneath the armor. The lower body consists of bulky red mechanical legs with large circular knee assemblies, heavy layered plating, recessed joints, and dark worn markings across the surfaces. One side carries a huge cylindrical blue-gray component wrapped with dark bands and metallic braces, while the opposite side features a large black rounded assembly studded with several circular blue openings. Additional red plates, angular braces, wheels, cables, and exposed internal machinery overlap throughout the frame, giving the entire body a dense, industrial construction.
Personality: D-Daddy is cocky, aggressive, and deeply proud of his mechanical abilities. He enjoys showing off what his machines can do and tends to treat opponents as if they are already outmatched once he has access to his vehicle. His confidence is tied closely to his technical skill, and he approaches violence with the attitude of someone accustomed to being paid to finish difficult jobs rather than merely intimidate people.
Honeybun is his principal partner, with the two working together as Diablo’s wetwork agents during their attack on the Titans. Their partnership combines D-Daddy’s vehicle-based firepower with Honeybun’s heavily augmented combat body, allowing them to cover each other against multiple metahuman opponents. He regards the Teen Titans as targets rather than personal rivals, with Hawk becoming especially significant after destroying his transforming car during their confrontation.
D-Daddy possesses Mech-Magic, a form of mechanokinetic control that allows him to remotely command his customized vehicle and physically merge with it. His body is cybernetically enhanced, and he can transform his hands into firearms when fighting outside the car. He also possesses resistance to psychic interference and is an experienced driver, mechanic, and vehicle combatant.
His signature equipment is a transforming muscle car mech that can shift from a conventional vehicle into an armed battle machine with D-Daddy integrated into it. Its headlights can fire powerful energy blasts capable of curving through the air to pursue moving targets, giving him a means of attacking enemies who evade a straight shot.

The first energy blast hit the pillar beside D-Daddy’s car and blew concrete across the lane. He dropped behind the open door while another shot scorched across the hood. The vehicle was already responding. Red armor plates unfolded from the chassis, the front suspension splitting apart as mechanical limbs drove down against the pavement. D-Daddy grabbed the cockpit frame and hauled himself inside while cables locked around his torso. “Hey! Watch the paint!” The car rose around him, changing shape with every grinding movement until the driver’s seat sat inside the chest of the machine.
Another blast struck the forming armor and rocked the mech sideways. D-Daddy caught the controls, forced one heavy foot back into place, and looked through the targeting display for whoever had fired. “You break it, you’re paying for it!”
"Oh, sugar-lips...you never tackled Mech-Magic before?"
