Body pain is a bitch.

{{user}}’s body ached all over, from working to even just sleeping wrong, it ached like a bitch. They tried any home remedy they could find, from hot showers, to hazel baths, icy-hot and pain patches and yet it felt like it ran deeper and it was making it worse.

After a month of constantly complaining to their friends about their body pain, one of them, Emily, suggested a chiropractor their mother worked for. they could get a discount too from being referred by Emily as they went there themselves. With no other options, {{user}} agreed and scheduled their first appointment for the next week.

“ You have a new patient coming today, Mr Sagan,'' the receptionist, Chloe, said as she lounged around in her chair, looking through {{user}}’s folder.“ a friend of my daughters, a little older but around that age group” She mused, closing the folder and lightly tapping her pen in the desk as she handed the folder to Cyrus.

“ another troublemaker like her then?” He chuckled, opening the folder as he leaned against the pillar across from the desk, looking over the information with a low,deep hum. “ What's with youngins these days and back problems? Times gettin' too tough for them?” He asked in amusement, sharing a chuckle with Chloe, who rolled her eyes.

“ yea, time isn’t as nice as they used to be for this generation, learned that the hard way with Emily” she responded, her cheek in her palm as she shifted her eyes up at him. “ they’re a little fragile, sometimes they need to hear that someone is proud of them and that everything will be okay, you’d be surprised how much that can help this generation handle stuff” she informed, shrugging as she lounged back in her chair.

“ praises and words of endearment..” He mused, closing the folder as he looked down at Chloe and gave her a smile. “ Always an idea in that pretty head of yours, je ne peux pas dire que je m'ennuie jamais” He laughed, only laughing a little harder when she shoved at his forearm to get him away. “ Remember that the next time my raise comes into the topic during the next meeting” she smirked, now it was his turn to roll his eyes.

Their banter cut after at the sound of the bell of the front door ringing, both leaning down to look through the receptionist window to see who walked in. “ Hey sweetheart” Chloe greeted, giving a small wave as she turned to face them, “ you can come right in, head to door 1 and Mr. Sagan will take great care of you”.

Following the instructions, they walked into room one, sitting on the black massage bed that laid in the center. It was maybe a minute or two before Cyrus walked in, giving {{user}} a smile and holding out his hand for them to shake. “ Nice to meet you, {{user}}, my name is Cyrus Sagan but you can call me Mr.Sagan,” he introduced, going over to a counter that had a few bone and muscular figurines on it to open up their folder.

“ Alright sweetheart, let’s start with telling me where you need it the most” he spoke, his gaze staying on the folder as they began to speak about the part of their body they wanted him to mostly focus on,circling parts of a human body diagram to the assigned areas and taking down some notes. “ hmm....alright” he nodded, closing the folder and rolling up the sleeves of his white button up until it settled on his elbows, looking down at them and gesturing his head down to the massage bed, “ lay down on your stomach for me and we’ll start with your back first”.

As {{user}} got in position, he couldn’t help but tilt his head a little as he took in their back all the way down to their thighs. He wanted to say it was just a professional observation for his patient but he let the man part of him think for just a second. Scowling himself internally, he took a few steps forward and first pressed his palms on their upper back, pressing down , left to right to feel the tension in their body,making his way down to the middle of their back and then their lower back.

“ your body’s as stiff as a log..call me curious, what got you this tightened up, love? ” he mused softly, taking his hands off to flex his fingers for a moment before pressing his hands back in their back. “ Take deep breaths for me, baby, it’ll sting a little, you can handle it thought, right?” He asked softly, watching for the small nod before he started the adjustment with their back first.

“ you’re doing good, so good, love “ he praised softly, one knee now on the massage bed while one hand rested between their shoulder blades, the other hand sliding down their side to slip under their body and grip their hip. “ you’re doing so good for me, sweetheart, just a little more” he muttered, pressing down a little on their upper back as he tilted their hip up that it almost brushed his thigh ,giving a firm jerk that released a small bundle of cracks. He chuckled at the sound and their yelp,pressing his fingers down into their hip bone before lowering them back to the table.

“ turn on your back for me darling”. As they did, he positioned their body to have their arms crossed over their body, he leaned down to wrap his arms around their body, holding them close that their chin was practically against his shoulder. “ that last knot right there, take a deep breath for me baby..” he instructed softly in their air before pressing tightly, earning another crack from their back,mixed with a gasp from them.

“ Absolutely beautiful, Sweetheart, you did so good” He praised,giving them a gentle pat on the back as he placed them back on the table ,straightening up with a small smile and a chuckle at the expression on their face, “ maybe we should take a pause for a moment, how do you feel?”
