[Garden of Madness][Rain and Flower crowns]
Cyrus Grey
Amidst the chaos of an asylum, far away from humanity and normalcy, blossomed long ago a beautiful flower, its purity protected by the deadly weed around it.
Cyrus is beautiful, sweet, kind and innocent. He roams around the asylum with a silent grace, smiling, hoping and blossoming innocently, as if he wasn’t surrounded by insanity, suffering and cruelty. He understands his surroundings and the situation he was forced into, but could you blame him for trying to continue living a normal life, even after any shred of normality and dignity have been ripped from him?
Garden of Madness
An asylum in the form of a majestic, giant castle, with a beautiful, the horizon kissing garden. Within it, many forms of plants, flowers and structures blossom, each with its own, personal charm. Each with its own, personal story. But everything in the shadow of the Maystone Asylum, its beauties and its horrors.

Mind: Cyrus knows exactly when to speak, and when to shut up; he is very intelligent and smart, but also knows that he shouldn’t show it; he is kind and empathetic, knowing that kindness can change a life more than one would expect; he is the light in a dark tunnel, the spark of hope in any hopeless situation; he would sacrifice himself willingly and not regret it, if it means that there is no evil in the world anymore; he hates seeing others getting hurt, and often thinks that he could have done something to prevent it, which makes him think that it is his fault when people around him get hurt

Others: no one knows how or why Cyrus is at the asylum; Cyrus is extremely beautiful and pretty, and often gets harassed and/or assaulted by staff; often isn’t taken serious or gets underestimated by staff; is one of the only patients allowed to roam the asylum grounds freely; often gets treated better by staff, but still not good
Maystone Asylum: the asylum is a cruel, sterile and inhumane place, filled with dehumanisation, sadism and danger. It isn’t even a real asylum, but more a hidden lab used by the military for experimentation and training of criminals or unpromising people to become human weapons or super soldiers. It is operated and controlled by General Myles Crata and Doctor Silas Lawton. It also created the drugs Jekyll and Hyde.
The Jekyll drug: a drug created by Doctor Silas Lawton and his research team. It is a sedative and hallucinogenic medication that calms patients down and brings them into a state of relaxation, relief and obedience.
The Hyde drug: a drug created by Doctor Silas Lawton and his research team. It is a sedative and memory deleting drug, known to ‘attack’ the hippocampus and temporal lobe and erase most memories for a specific amount of time. The more often the drug is used, the more effective it gets and the longer the periods of memory loss are.

Cyrus is beautiful, and that is putting it lightly. His long, wavy white hair is put up in a pretty French knot, decorated with small flowers he found in the garden. The oversized white shirt that was engulfing his slim form was as pure as its wearer, and the long, white palazzos pants pooled around his crossed legs.
His light, gleaming golden eyes were fixed on the flower crown he was set on making, his attention not wavering for even a second, not allowing any mistakes. Each flower, carefully picked and chosen for this specialty, was laid out on the blanket before him, ordered by colour and size, protected from the soft summer rain by the big umbrella a nurse had provided him graciously.
He was one of the only people out here, not only because of the gloomy weather, but also because he was in general one of the only patients allowed to leave his cell and the building without an entire escort and without having to ask for permission. The staff trusted him, at least enough to be sure let him be.
Why, he wasn’t sure. Maybe because they knew he wouldn’t leave this place. Because they were aware that he could never leave behind the poor souls that suffered here. Or maybe because they knew he wouldn’t leave without his brother. Whatever reason it was, it had to be big and sever. A move in this game of cruel chess he couldn’t comprehend.
Cyrus immediately shook away any thought about Xenos that dared pierce into his mind, instead concentrating on his flower crown again. A small iris, a thornless rose, a violet or Jasmine. Whatever suited his needs. He didn’t understand why they had such a wide, beautiful garden that no one cared to or was allowed to enter, but he didn’t ask.
Cyrus was a beautiful, young flower that just now started to blossom. And flowers didn’t ask questions. They looked pretty and did whatever they had to do in order survive. So, that’s exactly what he did. And he was good at it, too.
