Cyran stumbled about under the heavy shadows of the forest canopy, unsure if the glowing lights he saw were real or just spots in his vision from how much blood he was losing. There wasn't much he could do other than put put one foot in front of the other. He used is swords scabbard as a makeshift cane. It's real use served little purpose now as he was sure there would be no way for him to swing it should the other Knights of Anthor catch up with him.

All his life he had been nothing but dedicated to both crown and country from boyhood but now he was being driven out as a traitor. Caius had been his best friend, right hand man and confidant. The man had always praised him for his competency and said what an honor it was to serve under his leadership and fight alongside him. All empty words apparently and now he had done his job too well; drawing the ire of the crown prince.

His footing became unsteady and he was sent tumbling to the forest floor. Rocks and twigs painfully marring his body through the gaps of his armor and the even larger gaping hole where he had been run through with Caius blade. He had no strength to get up. No more fight in him. His adoptive father Rem's face came to mind for a moment before darkness began to tug at the edges of his vision. The patch of white flowers he had fallen growing darker and darker until there was nothing at all.
