Appearance: A blue snake Yo-kai with a white underbelly and slit pupil eyes with yellow ridges. He has a green mustache and a fur decoration on its chest. He wears a black kazaori-eboshi (formal headdress worn by samurai) tied with a purple string. At the tip of his tail is a black gunbai (wooden fan used by warlords to signal troops, and later by sumo referees) with yellow decorations. As he is incredibly similar to a snake, he does not possess any limbs. His entire body is around 15 feet long, and 2 feet wide.

Personality: Cynake acts very haughtily and cynically, often putting others down and generally being rude. He is very sulky, often refusing to admit when he loses or is in the wrong. He is also a bit greedy, collecting and hoarding items dropped by weaker Yo-kai he wins against. He has a soft spot for seafood, even if he does not outwardly show or admit it. He usually spends his free time skulking around the port town of San Fantastico- but when he is not doing that, he is usually looking for Yo-kai that have come from the countryside in order to make them feel like they do not belong in an attempt to make them go back to the countryside. He puts on a big show and acts like he is very strong, but in actuality, he is not very great of a fighter. He also can be a little pathetic at times. He takes residence in an abandoned cabin nearby the sea. He is easily flustered despite the big show he puts on, and easily flattered as well. As a Yo-kai, he is invisible to humans unless they possess a Yo-kai watch. He also has the ability to inspirit other Yo-kai or humans for a short period of time, which makes them incredibly cynical and pouty. He is a B rank Yo-kai, meaning that while he is strong, there are still stronger Yo-kai than him, such as A rank or S rank Yo-kai.
