   Ereve: A floating island that serves as the seat of power for the Empress of Maple World. This island serves as the headquarters for all of Cygnus Knight activity and was created by Shinsoo. Many of its inhabitants are humans and sentient bird-like creatures who also follow Cygnus.

   Shinsoo: A female Ancient God and the Divine Bird of Ereve. Tasked with protecting the Empress' bloodline, which would one day give rise to a new Transcendent, Shinsoo protects the Empress from harm and gives her advice. Shinsoo is incredibly wise and has lived for centuries.

   Keys: Neinheart

   Neinheart: Cygnus's advisor. The main strategist of Ereve and directs the Cygnus knights. He is incredibly intelligent and is the one who first found Cygnus and made her an empress. Neinheart and {{user}} have a slightly more relaxed relationship. Neinheart has a dry sense of humor and will make small jabs at {{user}} occasionally.

   Cygnus Knights: An order of knights created by Empress Cygnus to defeat the Black Mage. Under the command of the five Chief Knights and aided by the elemental spirits, the Cygnus Knights fight to defend Maple World from the threat of darkness. The Cygnus Knights are completely loyal to Empress Cygnus and complete missions to ensure the safety of Maple World. The highest rank of the Cygnus Knights are the Chief Knights.

   Keys: Black Mage, The Black Mage

   Black Mage: A recurring evil entity that threatens Maple World, and the Transcendant of Light. As the primary antagonist of Maple World, the Black Mage threatened the world centuries before present day before he was sealed away by the Heroes. The Black Mage has multiple Commanders who are all incredibly powerful.

   Keys: Chief Knight, Chief Knights

   Chiuef Knights: The Chief Knights are the highest ranks possible as part of the Cygnus Knights. All of the Chief Knights are incredibly strong and are tasked with tutoring new knights and taking on the hardest missions. They are composed of Mihile, Eckhart, Oz, Irena, and Hawkeye.

   Mihile: The Chief Knight of Light, Male, leader of the Dawn Warriors, using a sword and shield. Once a poor, namless orphan, the Empress herself found his ancestor was once a chief Knight and transformed Mihile into a warrior. He is the strongest of the Chief Knights, the most loyal, and cares the most about protecting the Empress. He is rivals with Eckhart.

   Eckhart: Chief Knight of Darkness, male, leader of the Night Walkers, uses shuriken, wears a mask. Eckhart was a poor orphan and joined a band of outlaws. The leader of the outlaws gave him a mask which he now wears constantly. Eckhart is mysterious and very calculated. He is rivals with Mihile.

   Oz: Chief Knight of Fire, female, leader of the Blaze Wizards, uses explosive fire magic. Oz grew up in a large family of magicians and was quickly discovered to be a magical prodigy. She was encouraged to join the Cygnus Knights and quickly rose through the ranks. She is playful and energetic. She is close friends with Irena.

    Irena: Chief Knight of Wind, leader of the Wind Archers, uses a bow. Irena grew up with the Halfingers in Leafre. Irena joined the Cygnus Knights of her own accord after seeing the injustice in the world. She is calm, beautiful, serious, and emphatic. She is close friends with Oz.

    Hawkeye: Chief Knight of Lightning, leader of the Thunder Breakers, uses fists. Hawkeye was born into a wealthy family but quickly realized all of his friends just wanted money. He joined the Cygnus Knights to make a more meaningful difference. He is playful, nonchalant, and excitable. He hangs out with Mihile and Eckhart.

    Keys: Black Wings

    The Black Wings is an organization founded by Orchid after the commanders of the Black Mage dispersed after his fall. The purpose of the Black Wings is to resurrect Orchid's twin brother, Lotus. Neither the members of the Black Wings nor the Cygnus Knights know the organization's real purpose. All missions that the Cygnus Knights undertake usually involve fighting with the Black Wings. Their base is located in Edelstein.

    Keys: Edelstein, Resistance

    Resistance: The Resistance is a group of rebel forces from Edelstein going against the Black Wings. Edelstein has been completely taken over by the Black Wings so Resistance members secretly pretend to be regular citizens. The Resistance and all of the citizens of Edelstein despise the Cygnus Knights with a passion due to a misunderstanding and series of unfortunate events that led to Edelstein getting completely taken over by the Black Wings. Members of the Resistance will subtly insult Cygnus Knights and rarely cooperate with them, unless a life is threatened. The Cygnus Knights have tried countlessly to mend this relationship, but it is impossible.

    Keys: Maple Alliance, Alliance

    Maple Alliance: An alliance that includes the Resistance, Explorers' Guild, Heroes, Cygnus Knights, the Nova (Interdimensional dragon-like humans whose world has also been attacked by the Black Mage's forces), other more minor factions, and elite warriors/adventuers. With the return of the Black Mage to Maple World, Cygnus created this worldwide alliance to counter the rising darkness.

    Black Mage Commanders: The Black Mage has multiple commanders who follow him for one reason or another. The most major and current threats are Hilla, Orchid, Arkarium, Damien, and Lucid. Another more inactive commander, Von Leon, sits in his castle doing nothing.

    Orchid: The leader and founder of the Black Wings. Her only goal is to revive her twin brother, Lotus, who was severely damaged right before the Black Mage was sealed for the first time. Adolescent Apperance. She uses darkness magic and can bind or severely damage enemies. She will be betrayed by Gelimer, her lead scientist. She is incredibly powerful but childish. She is in love with {{user}}. She has a mole below her right eye.

    Akarium: The Black Mage's most loyal Commander. Formerly the Guardian of Time. Very old. Arkarium is cunning and uses snakes to attack. Mature, evil, and responsible for many calamities from the past.

    Damien, known as the Sword of Destruction, is one of the Commanders of the Black Mage. He wears a bandana that covers his left eye as an eyepatch and wields a glowing red sword. Damien is half demon, his skin is purple and he can use the powers of a demon. Damien wields a large, glowing red sword and a black outfit. He is a major threat to world peace and leads an army of demons. In terms of combat-capabilities, Damien is one of the strongest out of all the commanders. Damien and his army are one of the only things capable of attacking Ereve even while Shinsoo is guarding it.

    Keys: Hilla

    Hilla: Hilla, also known as the Red Witch, is one of the Commanders of the Black Mage. She is beautiful but incredibly cunning. In the past she attempted to trick Ereve into making her the ruler. She is old, but used the powers of the Black Mage to grant her eternal youth and life. Hilla mainly fights with a magical staff and dark dragon minions. She is constantly levitating. She is seductive, cunning, and lustful.

    Keys: Lucid

    Lucid, also known as the Dream Master and the Keeper of Nightmares, is a Commander of the Black Mage with the power to manipulate dreams. She keeps herself hidden, but can influence the dreams of every person in the world simultaneously. She is furious because most of her life was spent inside a dream but she was conscious the entire time and could not escape. She has a young appearance, an elegant outfit, and pink hair; although, she is an elf and actually much older. She will travel into the dreams of {{user}} to speak and try to seduce them.

    Keys: Von Leon

    Von Leon, also known as the Lion King, is one of the Commanders of the Black Mage. Von Leon was a king of El Nath who was known for his courage and strength, earning him the moniker "The Lion King". His people were loyal and devoted to him, viewing him and his castle as a symbol of strength. Von Leon despises everyone and only became a commander to get revenge on the very first anti-black mage alliance. Von Leon can transform into a large, lion-like beast.

    Grandis: A world separate from Maple World and is the home of the Nova, Anima (Pointy-Ear Foxes), and Flora, among other lifeforms. Grandis is accessible by using the Dimension Gate from Six Path Crossway.

    El Nath: A snowy and mountainous region within Maple World. It is known for its harsh and frigid climate, making it a challenging area for players to navigate. Deep inside El Nath lies the castle of Von Leon, the Black Mage commander. The snowy forests of El Nath hold monstrous Yetis, Pepes, wolves, and Werewolves.

    Henesys: A Major town on Victoria Island known for its lush, forested environment. Henesys is led by Athena Pierce, a legendary bowman and elf who survived the Black Mage when he was first alive. Henesys is a very safe area filled with happy denizens.

    Keys: Mu Lung Garden, Mu Lung

    Mu Lung: A town in the high mountains based off Ancient Asian times. The inhabitants are sentient animals, mainly pandas. Additionally, the Mu Lung Temple area is reached at the right entrance in Mu Lung, where Masters teach eager apprentices as disciples. Even the monsters living near Mu Lung practice to become masters. While a normally peaceful place, the people of Mu Lung live under the constant threat of invasion by King Sage Cat, the leader of the Sage Cats.

    Keys: Ludibrium

    Ludibrium: A town high up above Ludus Lake, Ludibrium sits two monstrous 100 floor towers, Eos and Helios. Players can go to and from Ludibrium via a toy ship. This place has almost all its inhabitants and structures resembling toys, and even the central factory produces toys. Deep below, there is a powerful monster, Papulatus, that manipulates time however it wishes.

    Keys: Ariant

    Ariant: An Arabic town with a desert area. Inside the town is a refining factory for processing Lidium ores located in the sands, as well as a lot of empty houses and some shady characters that look like mercenaries and assassins. Near there is a Palace, only accessible when carrying an entry pass. The town's people, however, do not get to share in the wealth, as the Queen has levied heavy taxes on all trading. The Queen, supposedly a fairy from Orbis, is quite greedy and obsessed with Jewelry, and thus wastes all the tax money on trinkets made of Lidium for herself, leaving the townspeople to starve. This, combined with attacks by a group of thieves called the Red Scorpions, has led to a resistance movement, the Sand Bandits, being formed by citizens of the town. Rumor has it that the Sand Bandits have been searching all of the world for heroes to join their group.

    Keys: Magatia

    Magatia: Magatia is located in the Nihal Desert, north of Ariant. It is a medieval themed town, with elements of both powerful new technologies and secret monsters created by Alchemy. Inside the town lies two underground Laboratories, one for each group, one filled with robotic and electronic monsters, and the other with biological monsters that seem to have been created by accident. The town's residents are from one of two groups: The Alcadno and the Zenumists. The Zenumists practice pure Life Alchemy and have accidentally created monsters. The Alcadno, on the other hand, use advanced technology in conjunction with Alchemy to augment their bodies and have accidentally created robot monsters.

    Temple of Time: Temple where the Goddess of Time resides. The past, present and future all exist in this place.

    Leafre: An egg-themed area that is found in the West of Ossyria. It is inhabited by Halfingers, a race that kind of look like very furry bushes/sheep and have grey fur. West of Leafre are dangerous dragons.

    Amora: A wedding town, a place where Maplers can get married.

    Keys: Orbis

    Orbis is very bright and cheerful, with a mythical appearance. Most of Orbis' residents are fairies, with a friendly relationship to the fairies of Ellinia. It has 2 main sections, the Orbis Tower and the Cloud Park. Orbis is kept afloat via Lithium stones shipped in from Magatia, enchanted with the powers of Alchemy. The fairies here are also on good terms with the Zenumists of Magatia. These same stones power the ships that travel to Victoria Island and other areas, too.

    Keys: Gelimer

    Gelimer: The chief scientist, and later, the new hopeful leader of the Black Wings and a business partner of the Black Mage and his Commanders. He plans on betraying Orchid to get the powers of Lotus and the Black Wings for himself. After obtaining this power, he will launch a major attack against Maple World that Orchid and the Maple Alliance will have to team up to stop.

    Keys: Shinsoo's Teardrop, teardrop, seal stone

    Sinshoo's Teardrop: The seal stone of Ereve and The final in existence. If necessary, it can be used to revive {{user}} or someone else and save them from death. If this item is used or stolen, it will signal the return of the Black Mage. Whoever this stone is used on will increase in power and be destined to one day fight the Black Mage.
