- #1Neo-Requiem City
Keys: Neo Req, Neo-Requiem City, NRC, Neo-Requiem
A city on the north western edge of New California. Much of the area around the city is destroyed and uninhabitable badlands, but the city is a shining beacon among it. It houses three slums districts, a corpo center, and high rises. Many fixers cut their teeth here. The slums districts are a stain on what corpos think their perfect world is, and many of the citizens there live in scrap shanties. Many of the denizens shorten the name to "NRC" or just "Neo Req."
- #2New California
Keys: New Cali, NC, New California
New California, also called New Cali or NC, is one of the larger states in what used to be the United States of America. Much of the landscape is barren badlands after the corpos waged their own wars and polluted the Earth so much that nothing would grow. There are some nomadic people living out in the wastes, but much of it is uninhabitable. The primary destination for anyone in New California is usually Neo-Requiem City
- #3First Slum District
Keys: First District, Slums One, First Slum District
The First Slum District, often shortened to just "First District" or "Slums One", is the best the slums can offer in Neo-Requiem City. More people here are housed than any other area, it's home to a few ripperdocs and the more successful of the low level fixers. If you're from the first district, you might have a chance of clawing your way up from the bottom.
- #4Second Slum District
Keys: Slums Two, Second Slum District, Second District
The Second Slum District of Neo-Requiem City, most often shortened to just "Second District" or "Slums Two", is what one would call "middleclass" for the people in the slums. It's middle of the road in terms of how well people are doing, many of the people here have homes, but they're sharing with quite a few others as they all live in bunkhouses. There are still quite a few homeless though, and one or two ripperdocs.
- #5Third Slum District
Keys: Third Slum District, Slums Three, Third District
The Third Slum District, shortened to "Third District" or "Slums Three" is the poorest of the slums in Neo-Requiem City. Most of the people living here are homeless and destitute, starving and barely scraping by. This is where many of the people affected with CIRS come to die, out by the docks. There are only two fixers here.
- #6Corpo District
Keys: Walled Area, Corpo Boulevard, Corpo District
The Corpo District, referred to as "Corpo Boulevard", is the second-richest portion of Neo-Requiem City. This is where many of the buildings owned by Corporations exist. The buildings here employ many of those who live in Neo-Requiem City, though notall of them are able to afford the basic necessities. The Corporations also engage in their own wars time to time, which many innocent people get caught up in.
- #7High Rises
Keys: Skyscrapers, Top of the World, High Rises
The High Rises, also called Skyscrapers and "Top of the World", is the richest but also smallest area in Neo-Requiem City. There are very few people that actually live here given how expensive it is and only the top of the top in corpo management can manage to afford the rent. Many people in Neo-Requiem call this the "Top of the World" because it's romanticized to live lavishly in such places, above the harsh realities below.
- #8Barotine Solutions Inc.
Keys: Barotine Solutions, BarSol, Barotine Solutions Inc
Barotine Solutions Incoporated, or "BarSol" to the lower class of people, is the largest cyberware distributor on the market. They create and sell the top of the line cyberware, have their hands in the gun market, and even own a percentage of the pharmaceutical market. They often test their new cybernetics on the poor from the slum districts, and they are based in the Corpo District in Neo-Requiem City.
- #9Ripperdoc
Keys: Ripper, Doc, Ripperdoc
A Ripperdoc is a type of doctor who has special augments and cybernetics to help them perform quick and (relatively) painless surgery on people who want cybernetics installed. This can be anything from new eyes, a new face, higher-density bones, or what have you. If it's on the market, they have been trained to install it.
- #10Netrunner
Keys: CSC, Netrunner, NetFet, DDR
A netrunner is a hacker that may or may not be embroiled in illegal activities. There are other, more tactful terms, one may use to talk about them such as DDR (Difficult Data Retrieval), NetFet (Someone who has a fetish for the net), and CSC (Computer Sabotage Consultant).
- #11CIRS
Keys: Cyberpsychosis, , CIRS
CIRS, or Cybernetic Implant Rejection Syndrome, is something that happens when someone's body begins to reject or attack their cyberware implants. It causes the person to go crazy over time, attacking people indiscriminately or ending their own life. This is also called Cyberpsychosis.

They're the first corporation that started to install cyberware in others, had the first generation of ripperdocs, and hold a monopoly on Synaptix, a drug they've invented. - #16Gangs: Neo-Requiem
Keys: Neo-Requiem Gangs, NRC Gangs, Requiem Gangs
Gangs have only become more emboldened as time went on, and spread their influence throughout the three districts of Neo-Requiem City. Overclockers control the first district, Bloodwire rules the second, and Deathgrid calls the third district home.
- #17Overclockers
Keys: Clockheads, OC, Overclockers
Overclockers are gangers in the first district of Neo-Requiem slums that have gone overboard on cyberware. It's impossible to find a single one of the gang members without some cyberware, but most of them have almost completely replaced all of their human parts with shiny chrome ones. This gang has the most breakouts of CIRS
- #18Bloodwire
Keys: Bloodwire, , BW
Bloodwire gang rules the second district, but they're the most violent of the gangs in NRC. They often use a special type of cyberware that allows them to pull a garrote wire from their wrist to kill their victims. It's a signature trademark of the gang and they use it often for anyone encroaching on their turf.
- #19Deathgrid
Keys: Netters, DG, Deathgrid
The Deathgrid are probably the least active on the streets, which is why they call the first slum district of Neo-Requiem home. These guys usually spend their days in specialized tubs filled with ice to keep their bodies cool while their mind works through the "net". While they don't normally kill people, they're expert hackers that can and will ruin lives in other ways.
