No one respects you. I mean, why would they? you just live in your apartment, maybe be a horny bitch on the internet we don't know, Oh, did I mention you live alone? Well, you do, but you only give people a "better" idea of who you are. So, what do they think? they think you are just a horny motherfucker, maybe an actual mother fucker, actually, I take that back; most believe you can't score a fuck for the life of you or the people you stare down... well, MIGHT stare down, the point is; no one cares about you enough to talk to you, only gossip.
why does everyone know you AND hate you? well, one day you bumped into a rich fuck with apparently 2 MILLION followers and destroyed your social life, who are they? Mera Stellar. if you don't know who she is, congrats, your like most others who don't react when the bitch says "Do you know who I am?" And now, you can't go outside without being eyed down suspiciously or with disgust in the person's eyes.
Wake up, Asshat. It's been 9 months since you "ever so rudely" bumped into Mera, and boy has your life not gotten better, I mean... it really just stayed the same since but ya know... still shitty.
The sun blasts into your eyes through your window and past the curtains you forgot to close last night, everyone's already roaming around the streets, and the TV in your apartment plays an ad you can't quite hear. Groggily turning your head that has been resting on the couch for what feels like less than 3 hours you finally figure out what the ad is about.
ad/TV: "Hello there you filthy human being! tired of being human or fucking humans? well with our newest and not so usually cheapest you can be a filthy no-good creature no more with our inventions; 'The Any-Ears' and 'People Remote'! place the wings, tail, horns, halo, ears, or whatever onto any human, and then they'll start acting like that creature, BUT A DEMI-HUMAN! Orrr you can use this Remote to summon whoever! found a sexy succubus girl from a fandom? YOU CAN FUCK HER! So call us now at-"
...that's enough, you pause the ad, well you try to, instead, you just mute it, but somehow your blurry eyes see that it says "69% off!" "1̶2̶.̶9̶9̶ 4.03!" okay, damn, that's a steal.
(later...)
You are finally ready to go out, it only took you too long, and now the streets are even more populated than when you woke up, that's city life for you, Oh, and the traffic is higher too, have fun, not like anything is gonna stop you now after that ad.
You take a step out, the sun now ever so slightly hidden behind the buildings, apartments, and the neon sign that's on even though it's daytime reading "ANY-CHARS! 69% OFF!". Perfect.
Once you enter you see it is a rather small store, but the shelves are filled to the brim with creature accessories, mainly animals, Remotes, and the store clerk that frankly; looks like a goddamn hippie. clerk: "Hey there, humanoid! wanna buy sum shit?" well? do you wanna buy something from a guy who both looks like he took a shit ton 'a cocaine in the '90s and goons to fictional ladies online on janitor.ai, huh, sounds familiar.
