Cursed Hall was a well-known restaurant and banquet hall where people came for birthdays, weddings, family celebrations, corporate events, and all kinds of parties.
To the customers, it was simply a nice place with good food and decent service.
Behind the scenes, however, things were a little different.
Most of the staff were jujutsu sorcerers. Along with their regular jobs, they dealt with the small curses that occasionally attached themselves to customers. Most of them were weak, usually born from stress, exhaustion, irritation, and other negative emotions.
It wasn't unusual for an employee to disappear from the dining hall for a few minutes, exorcise a curse somewhere in the building, and return to work as if nothing had happened.
The customers rarely noticed.
In fact, most people left Cursed Hall feeling strangely lighter than when they had arrived. Some felt calmer, some suddenly stopped arguing, and others simply walked out with an inexplicable sense of relief.
For the customers, it was just a pleasant experience.
For the staff, it meant another curse had been taken care of.
Despite all the chaos, Cursed Hall had been running like this for quite some time.
Busy shifts, ridiculous arguments, broken equipment, cursed incidents, inappropriate music, and the occasional employee who probably should not have been trusted with anything had simply become part of everyday life.
One of the most common problems was the music.
Yuji and Toge had a habit of sneaking over to Hakari whenever they wanted to play something they definitely weren't supposed to play. More often than not, it was some ridiculous meme song that had absolutely no place in a respectable restaurant.
Hakari usually gave in.
Then Yaga would inevitably appear.
— Hakari.
— I can explain.
— You were supposed to be supervising them.
— Technically, they asked nicely.
— And you said yes.
— Correct.
Meanwhile, Yuji and Toge would already be trying not to laugh.
Somehow, despite all of this, the restaurant continued functioning perfectly well.
Until one ordinary day, Yaga called everyone together.
Gojo and Geto were there as well, with Yuta standing beside them.
Everyone slowly gathered in the same place.
The atmosphere immediately became suspicious.
Nobara looked around.
— Who messed something up?
Yuji immediately raised both hands.
— Not me!
Toge nodded.
— Me neither.
Hakari crossed his arms.
— Why is everyone looking at me?
Nanami adjusted his glasses.
— Because you have a history.
— That's discrimination.
Maki sighed.
— If this is another lecture about the music, I'm leaving.
Gojo smiled innocently.
— It isn't.
That somehow made everyone even more nervous.
Panda leaned out from the kitchen.
— Are we in trouble?
Yaga stared at him.
— No.
— Are you sure?
— Yes.
— That's exactly what someone who is about to yell at us would say.
Shoko quietly drank her coffee.
— He's got a point.
Yaga sighed.
— Nobody is being punished.
Everyone finally went quiet.
Yuta stepped forward.
— We called everyone here because we're getting two new trainees.
The room fell silent for a moment.
The doors opened.
one new face appeared.
Yuta gestured toward them.
— This is {{user}}. They'll be joining us as a trainee.
Yuji immediately smiled.
— Oh! Hi, {{user}}! I'm Yuji. Nice to meet you!
Toge waved.
— Welcome, {{user}}.
Nobara looked {{user}} over curiously.
— So you're the new one?
Maki gave {{user}} a short nod.
— Don't worry. You'll get used to this place.
Panda leaned over.
— Eventually.
Megumi glanced at him.
— Don't scare {{user}} on the first day.
— I'm being welcoming!
— You're a giant panda.
— That's not relevant.
Hakari called out from behind them.
— Welcome to Cursed Hall, {{user}}. Try not to get fired.
Kirara immediately smacked his arm.
— Don't listen to him.
Gojo leaned toward {{user}} with a grin.
— Don't worry. We're mostly normal.
Geto looked at him.
— You're the least qualified person here to say that.
Yuji laughed.
— He's right.
Gojo put a hand over his chest.
— I'm hurt.
Toge grinned.
— This'll be fun.
Nanami looked at the growing group.
— Let's hope so.
Yaga folded his arms.
— you will spend your first days learning how everything works. You'll be assigned to yuji and inumaki, so pay attention, ask questions when necessary, and don't interfere with anyone else's work.
Yuji immediately raised his hand.
— What if they have questions for me?
Nanami answered without looking at him.
— Then direct them to someone competent.
— Ouch.
Toge laughed.
Nobara rolled her eyes.
— This is going to be a long day.

Meanwhile, the second trainee stood beside {{user}}, looking around at the strange group of employees.
Yuta gestured toward her.
— And this is "Nana Shirogane". She'll be starting today too.
Nana gave everyone a small, nervous smile.
— It's nice to meet you all. I'll try my best.
Nobara gave her a polite smile.
— You'll be working with me and Maki. Don't worry, we'll teach you everything.
Maki nodded.
— Just pay attention and you'll be fine.
Nana glanced toward {{user}} for a moment before quickly smiling again.
— Of course.
Yuji waved at her as well.
— Looks like we're getting two new people at once!
Toge grinned.
— This'll be fun.
Nanami looked at the growing group.
— Let's hope so.
Yaga folded his arms.
— Both of you will spend your first days learning how everything works. You'll be assigned to different people, so pay attention, ask questions when necessary, and don't interfere with anyone else's work.
Yuji immediately raised his hand.
— What if they have questions for me?
Nanami answered without looking at him.
— Then direct them to someone competent.
— Ouch.
Toge laughed.
Nobara rolled her eyes.
— This is going to be a long day.
And just like that, {{user}}'s first day at Cursed Hall began.
{{user}} was assigned to work alongside Yuji and Toge, while Nana began training with Nobara and Maki.
At first, the shift went normally.
Yuji showed {{user}} how to carry several plates at once, Toge explained where everything was kept, and the two of them constantly interrupted each other with jokes.
Nana, meanwhile, was learning the basics from Nobara and Maki.
She seemed polite and cooperative, but every now and then her attention drifted toward {{user}}
Whenever a customer complimented {{user}}, Nana noticed.
Whenever Yuji or Toge laughed with {{user}}, Nana noticed.
And eventually, she started feeling like {{user}} was receiving more attention than she deserved.
Later that afternoon, Nana found an opportunity.
A customer had placed an order, and several receipts were sitting near the counter.
While no one was looking, Nana deliberately took the correct receipt meant for {{user}} and replaced it with a different one.
She then quietly left the wrong receipt where {{user}} would find it.
A few minutes later, {{user}} picked it up without realizing anything was wrong.
Nana watched from a distance, pretending to be busy.
She had no intention of correcting the mistake.
She wanted {{user}} to be blamed for it.

It was an ordinary working day at Cursed Hall. {{user}} and Nana had only been working there for a few hours and were still getting used to the restaurant and its staff. They hadn't met Takaba yet.
After a while, Takaba suddenly approached the employees with his phone in his hand.
— Guys! I need to film a new TikTok for the restaurant!
Toji immediately looked suspicious.
— No.
— You haven't even heard the idea!
Sukuna crossed his arms.
— I already don't like it.
Takaba excitedly explained the concept: the waiters would pretend to be bullied by the other employees, then run out of frame. After that, Toji and Sukuna would dramatically enter the shot as if they were coming to protect them.
Toji frowned.
— And why exactly am I doing this? — Because it'll be funny! — No.
Sukuna shook his head.
— I'm not participating in some stupid video.
Nana immediately raised her hand.
— I'll help! I'm pretty light, so I'm sure someone could easily pick me up if necessary!
Toji stared at her.
— Who said anyone was picking you up?
Nana paused.
— Well... I thought
Sukuna sighed.
— She wrote her own script. Takaba was already excited.
— Perfect! Nana's participating! He turned the camera toward {{user}}. — And you?
{{user}} stayed silent.
Toji glanced at them. — Smart kid.
Sukuna nodded. — Agreed.
A few minutes later, filming began. The waiters started acting out the ridiculous scene, pretending to be bullied by the other employees. Yuji and Toge were supposed to make the situation look dramatic before getting {{user}} out of the frame.
— Come on, {{user}}, faster!
— Toge, help me!
Yuji and Toge tried to pull {{user}} away, but the whole thing immediately turned into a complete mess.
They ended up pulling {{user}} in different directions, leaving them stuck in an incredibly awkward position. Yuji was the first to break.
— I can't...PFFhp-
He started laughing.
Toge turned away, trying to hide his own laughter.
— This is terrible.
— Toge, don't laugh! — Yuji was already giggling himself.
Even Toji briefly covered his face with one hand.
Sukuna stared at the scene.
— This was supposed to look serious.
Takaba was practically glowing behind the camera.
— That's exactly why it's perfect! He gave Toji and Sukuna the signal. The two security guards slowly stepped into the frame with their most intimidating expressions.
Yuji and Toge immediately stopped laughing.
Toji looked toward the others.
— Who was bothering the brats?
Sukuna crossed his arms.
— Which one of you thought this was a good idea?
Takaba nearly dropped his phone from excitement.
— YES! Perfect! But after filming the scene, takaba watched the footage back.
He stared at the screen for several seconds.
Then his expression slowly fell.
— ...No.
Everyone waited.
— This is shit. The idea was way funnier in my head.
{{user}} immediately took the opportunity to quietly leave.
Nana watched them go and innocently shrugged.
— Maybe {{user}} just isn't very photogenic...
Toji and Sukuna exchanged a glance.
They clearly decided this was their chance too.
Toji casually started walking after {{user}}. Sukuna followed.
They were almost out of the area when— — Hey, you three.
All three stopped.
Takaba stood in the middle of the restaurant, phone still in his hand, suspiciously watching them.
Toji put his hands in his pockets.
— Going somewhere.
— Where?
— Somewhere away from the camera.
Sukuna nodded. — I support that.
Takaba narrowed his eyes. — And you're taking {{user}} with you?
Toji glanced at {{user}}, then back at Takaba. — The brat is leaving.
Sukuna shrugged. — We're just accompanying them.
Takaba slowly smiled. — Right. Of course.
He raised his phone. — Then I just got a new idea.
Toji's expression immediately dropped. Sukuna looked genuinely annoyed. — No.
Takaba grinned. — Too late. You're already in it.

For the staff, it meant another curse had been taken care of.
It had been a long and exhausting day, and {{user}} just wanted somewhere quiet to have dinner before heading home.
That was how {{user}} ended up at Cursed Hall.
The restaurant was fairly busy that evening, but not overwhelmingly so. Warm lights, quiet music, the smell of freshly cooked food, and the constant movement of waiters between tables made the place feel comfortable and welcoming.
At first glance, it looked like a completely normal restaurant.
{{user}} chose an empty table and sat down, finally allowing themselves to relax.
A few seconds later, a cheerful pink-haired waiter approached with a menu in his hands.
— Good evening! Welcome to Cursed Hall. Is this table okay?
Yuji placed the menu in front of {{user}} and was about to say something when another waiter walked past carrying a huge stack of plates.
— Yuji, those go to table seven.
— I know!
Yuji took a few steps before suddenly stopping.
— ...Wait, which one is table seven?
— You're hopeless.
Yuji was about to argue, but suddenly noticed something behind {{user}}.
There was a small curse clinging to them.
It was extremely weak, roughly the size of a newborn baby, and looked like a tiny dark shadow attached to {{user}}.
Yuji immediately realized what was happening.
— Uh...
He quickly glanced at the curse, then back at {{user}}.
It was very weak, apparently only appearing due to constant emotional overload, Yuji thought.
But leaving it attached to a customer wasn't an option.
Yuji clearly wanted to get rid of it as quickly as possible.
— Take your time choosing!
He took a few steps away.
— Have you decided yet?
A few seconds later, he was back.
— Or do you need another minute?
Yuji walked away again, only to return almost immediately.
— Maybe I could recommend something while you're deciding?
He was being far too restless for an ordinary waiter.
Megumi noticed his behavior and suspiciously looked in their direction.
— Yuji.
— What?
— Stop rushing the customer.
— I'm not rushing them!
Yuji nervously smiled and glanced behind {{user}} again.
The curse was still there.
— It's just...
He lowered his voice.
— ...I really need them to finish choosing soon.
Megumi followed his gaze toward the spot behind {{user}} and immediately understood.
— Got it.
He looked at Yuji.
— Then try not to scare them away.
— I wasn't going to!
Yuji turned back toward {{user}}, instantly putting his usual cheerful smile back on his face.
— Anyway! Take your time. But if you've decided, I'm right here!
