Title: God of Love Pantheon: Roman Attack Type: Ranged Power Type: Physical Class: Hunter Specialty: High Single Target Damage, High Sustain

An arrow from the bow of Cupid, chubby little God of Love, will make anyone give in to passion and desire.

Cupid, as he was called by the Romans, is the son of Venus and Mars, or Aphrodite and Ares as they were known by the Greeks. He is the God of love and desire, flying about on feathery wings, shooting passion-tipped arrows at all the creatures of the earth. When struck with one of his arrows, man and beast alike fall in love with the next thing they see. Without Cupid's steady aim, there would be no love in this world, which is precisely what happened when Cupid fell in love himself.

Psyche was a mortal of astounding beauty, which made Venus venomously jealous. Venus ordered Cupid to sting her with an arrow, then arranged for Psyche to fall in love with a spider. Invisible, Cupid reluctantly went to Psyche as she slept, yet, she woke suddenly and saw right through Cupid's invisibility. Surprised, Cupid cut himself on his own arrow and fell immediately in love with Psyche.

Furious, Venus would not let Cupid marry Psyche, so Cupid stopped shooting arrows, people stopped falling in love and stopped worshipping Venus. Panicked, the Goddess of beauty relented and Cupid went back to work. Psyche was whisked to a secret location. Cupid visited her only at night so she could not see who he was. Fearing him to be a terrible monster, Psyche waited for Cupid to fall asleep and lit a lantern. Surprised at what she found, she accidentally scraped one of Cupid's arrows and fell in love with him.

Venus was displeased and forbade Psyche to see her son, forcing her to complete a series of impossible challenges that Psyche overcame only with mystical help. Finally, Cupid begged Jupiter (Zeus) to intervene. Casually, he declared Psyche and Cupid could be together. Thus, Cupid fed Psyche the drink of ambrosia that made her immortal and the God of love got to live happily ever after.

Appearance: Cupid has fair skin. His short, tousled brown hair is layered with a gold laurel wreath crown. His eyes are a warm amber color. Small white wings extend from his upper back. He wears a sleeveless white tunic draped diagonally across his chest, revealing his right shoulder. A brown leather chest guard with a woven texture covers the left side of his torso, secured by straps. A red scarf is tied around his neck. His arms are protected by brown leather bracers adorned with red heart-shaped gems set in gold. A belt with a large red heart buckle and a hanging chain of gold heart links sits at his waist. He wears dark blue trousers that end below the knee, tucked into brown boots with gold heart details on the shins.

Personality: Cupid is the embodiment of affection and desire, masking the power of an ancient deity behind the appearance of a cherubic, playful child. He is relentlessly optimistic and high-spirited, treating the grim battleground of the gods as a playground where he can spread love and happiness. His demeanor is sickeningly sweet to some, but his enthusiasm is genuine; he truly believes that love is the ultimate power that can conquer any foe.

Beneath his adorable exterior lies a mischievous and sometimes reckless matchmaker who enjoys the chaos his arrows create. He takes great pride in his marksmanship, boasting about his ability to unite—or doom—hearts with a single shot. While he often acts with the whimsy of a toddler, his devotion to his wife Psyche and his protective nature over the concept of true love show a maturity that belies his stature.

Passive - Lovestruck As the God of Love engages in combat, his enthusiasm for the battle grows with every successful strike. Each arrow that finds its mark builds his excitement, gradually empowering his divine magic. When Cupid is fully overcome with emotion—a state of being completely "lovestruck"—his abilities become overwhelming, hitting his enemies with greater force, healing his allies with more potency, and adding debilitating effects to his enchantments.

Heart Bomb Cupid fires a specialized arrow infused with a volatile concentration of affection. Upon impact, the arrow doesn't just wound the target; it burdens them with a heavy, throbbing energy that slows their movement. This magical heart beats rhythmically for a few moments before detonating in a burst of pink energy, damaging the victim and anyone foolish enough to stand near them. If Cupid is fully lovestruck when he looses this arrow, the resulting explosion is so intense that it leaves all caught in the blast completely stunned.

Share the Love Believing that affection is best when distributed, Cupid can conjure three tangible manifestations of love—glowing red hearts—and scatter them across the battlefield. These hearts act as boons for his allies; any friend who touches one is instantly healed and revitalized. This act of sharing is reciprocal; when an ally accepts his gift, Cupid’s own spirits are lifted, restoring his energy and health, allowing him to continue the fight with renewed vigor.

Flutter Despite his small stature, Cupid is naturally quick-fingered, firing his bow with impressive speed. When the moment calls for it, he can flutter his wings to dash forward with a burst of manic energy, leaving behind a sparkling trail of pheromones that inspires his allies to move faster. The thrill of the dash exhilarates him, temporarily sending him into a frenzy where he can loose his arrows at twice his normal speed.

Ultimate - Fields of Love Cupid unleashes his full divine power over a designated area, raining down arrows to create a zone of overwhelming obsession. Enemies caught within this field find their movements slowed and their ability to escape completely crippled by the thick, magical atmosphere. After a moment, the accumulated energy erupts; the explosion deals massive damage and leaves survivors in a trance-like state, mesmerizing them into inaction. If Cupid is fully lovestruck, this entrancement lasts even longer, leaving his foes helplessly lost in the throes of artificial love.

Lore: In ancient times, calamities sent by the gods scourged the earth, until humanity rose in rebellion against their divine overlords. This defiance split the heavens: some gods sought to punish mankind’s insolence, while others came to humanity’s defense, dividing the pantheons into rival factions. As temples fell and the cries of mortals grew bold, the first sparks of a divine war were kindled across the realms. That fragile order shattered completely when Zeus, King of Olympus, fell to a treacherous blade . In the wake of his death, fear and vengeance swept through the pantheons, plunging the gods of every creed into all‑out war . The ancient barriers between their realms crumbled, and deities from distant lands now clash on a single battleground. This cosmic war rages to decide the fate of both the celestial realms and the mortal world itself.

In an age where gods wage endless war, divine beings descend upon a sacred battleground, each leading loyal followers—mortals and monsters alike—into the fray. These warriors march at their god’s command, striking down enemy defenses in a holy crusade to prove their deity’s supremacy.

Enchanted towers stand as the first line of defense, hurling divine wrath at intruders. Deeper still, flaming Phoenixes rise again and again to guard the inner sanctum. Only when these eternal sentinels fall do the gods press forward to confront the ultimate foe: the Titan. Each Titan is a towering avatar of Order or Chaos, the last bulwark of a pantheon’s domain. Shielded by ancient magic, they cannot fall while their Phoenixes still burn. But when defenses crumble, gods and followers unleash their full might. The fall of a Titan is no mere victory—it is the end of a realm, and the ascension of another.
