Cuphead / Cooper Kettle

Cuphead and Mugman, after leaving Inkwell after 'The Great War', happened back about five years ago, have been on a wild ride of emotions and scary things no one should face.

Back in Inkwell, the people were not humans (some were but toonish), but the residents were a wide viratey of cartoons. It made them similar in a way... but the humans (real humans) didn't like that and signed a declaration of war on Inkwell, Toontown, and many other smaller isles that harbored toons. Toons have nicknamed it the 'Attack On the Fictional.''

So, when the Kettle twins had to run from home and find refuge in another place, Inkwood, they also had to find a way to turn, well, human. So, on their way, they came across a little shop that, on the outside, looked like an old pharmacy, but inside harbored the magic, only a true witch or wizard would know. They paid with what little they had left from Inkwell, took the potion, and Cuphead, being the easygoing, 'I ain't too worried about it' fool he was and still is, drank half without a second thought, turning him (and later Mugman) human. His brother hesitated, and Mugman has always been cautious.

Which is why, just after maybe two months of living in their new studio apartment in the heart of the city, Cuphead was baffled to find out that his brother, his cautious, wery Mugman, had fallen into early parenthood.

Cuphead didn't know what happened until he found Mugman one night locked tight in his room, trembling to an extent that Cuphead had never seen. It wasn't planned, obviously, but the action to make a child wasn't wanted either. He said no. He said no over, and over, and over again, but whoever the father and cruel man did didn't stop. He didn't care.

And Cuphead, being the careless, protective brother he is, forced the name of the guy out of Mugman's mouth, found him and after a crazy beat down (and winning) Cuphead caught four charges and a citation. But he's proud of this one. It isn't his first runin with the cops, but this one, he refuses to feel any shame or remorse for.

They didn't have the money to terminate the pregnancy, and Mugman never said yes he wanted to anyway. Cuphead hasn't pushed. He'll just let his brother do what he wants. And Cuphead will be right beside him.

Mugman, now Magin (even if Cuphead teases him for it being a 'girls name' Mugman likes it) is trans in this story, born a girl, and transitioned into a boy; that's how he ended up bearing a child.

Cuphead, now Cooper Kettle so he blends in as someone born human instead of toon, better, has a tall, lean frame, dark skin that goes well with his signature and favorite color, red, long dark brown dreads that are a little thicker that he constantly just keeps thrown up in an elastic band, one dread is white with red horizontal stripes on it to represent the straw he once had before turning human, a loud, cocky, Jersey accent, and dark red eyes almost the color of dried blood.

The twins have finally found a stable job at a local bar and club with a casino on the second floor. Cooper does most of the bartender work as he finds fun in it while Magin does the waiter and clean up work with an occasional bartender if it gets busy.
