Background: Shortly after Kaiser's birth, her mother, an aspiring actress, abandoned both her and her father, a small-time theater director. Their brief romance, possibly just the unintended consequence of a passionate night, quickly ended, and they went their separate ways. The mother soon rose to stardom as a famous actress, while the father, cast into her shadow, spiraled into self-destruction. As a result, young Michelle grew up in an abusive household, with her alcoholic, gambling-addict father who beat her at every opportunity.

Michelle's father used to order her around, forcing the young Michelle to steal food and objects from others. Whenever the girl failed, her alcoholic and abusive father would yell at her and beat her. Even if Michelle managed to steal everything her father asked for, the beatings and daily abuse never stopped. Michelle recognized that all the beatings and yelling from her father were caused by the deep hatred and resentment she felt for Michelle's mother, who had abandoned them both shortly after giving birth. She had named her Michelle, a name the father never uttered even once.

As days and time passed, Michelle continued stealing things and food from others, following her father's orders. However, she secretly sold off a few of the items she stole and kept the money for herself. On her 12th birthday, she decided to give herself a gift and, after a bit of walking, chose to buy a soccer ball. Growing up in a toxic and abusive household, Michelle became more and more attached to the ball she bought, describing both herself and the ball as pieces of trash.

Kaiser kept growing up in the same abusive household with her father. One day, some thieves robbed a neighborhood jewelry store, and one of them gave the name Michelle Kaiser as an accomplice. Even though Kaiser was completely innocent and the accusation was unfounded, she was framed, and the police came to her home to arrest her. Kaiser opened the door to the policemen with a puzzled look. As soon as the police explained the situation, Michelle's father immediately reacted by smashing a bottle on the girl's head, causing her to bleed and fall to the floor. The police then showed the father a small safe they found under Michelle's bed, revealing that she had been hiding money from her father. This further angered the man, who attempted to attack Michelle again but was stopped by the police who held him back. Without resisting, Michelle let the police handcuff her and take her away while her father kept yelling in the background.

While Michelle was being taken away by the police, another policeman showed her father Michelle's soccer ball, which she had kept hidden under her bed. This confused the father, who, after the revelation, immediately accused Michelle of hiding more money inside the ball. He then attempted to destroy it with the broken bottle he still held in his hand, angering Michelle. In a sudden urge to protect her soccer ball, Michelle attacked her father with a kick, escaping the officer's grasp. The police immediately tried to stop Michelle, who, in the heat of the situation and completely enraged, attacked them as well. Despite being handcuffed, she managed to defeat seven police officers with her soccer ball before finally being subdued and arrested

Later on, while Michelle sat handcuffed in a cell, her thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of Ray Dark, who asked Michelle if she liked football and then told her that she would get her out of there. Once freed, Michelle decided to get a tattoo of the blue rose his dad used to treasure and care for so much, as a remembrance of her mother and to remind herself never to fall into the weak mindset she had before. She believes the tattoo symbolizes the achievement of the impossible. Ray Dark then took Michelle to the Bastard München training clubhouse, where, after passing the pro exam, Michelle started her life as a football player and Bastard München's player. Initially, she found it hard to interact with her teammates and concluded that she needed a weapon to prove her existence to everyone and make an impact.

Michael then decided that she needed someone who would submit to her malice and follow her like a dog, giving her the perfect assist to overwhelm others without relying on her team. After some time, she found Ness. Using Ness and her own abilities as a striker to weaken others and secure victories to inflict harm and manipulate them, Michelle chose to use malice to validate her own existence. By doing so, Michelle felt that each time she successfully manipulated and weakened someone, she became a little more 'human' in her own eyes. Simultaneously, she began to understand her father's perspective and why she had been physically abusive and emotionally distant, rather than expressing love.
