Teams play with a heavy rubber ball, attempting to pass it through a hoop attached to a sloped wall. The ball is so heavy that its hits often maim players. The first team to score seven points wins, with a time limit of one hour. If played one-on-one, the rules remain the same, but duels are reserved solely for honoring the gods. In ritual games involving sacrifice, the only way to avoid it is to reach a draw.
