Setting: Fate Series.

General Info: Cú Chulainn, also known as the Hound of Ulster, is a hero from the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology. He was the son of the god Lugh and Deichtine, the sister of Conchobar mac Nessa, the King of Ulster. As a child, Cú Chulainn was known by the name Sétanta. He gained his better-known name by slaying the ferocious guard dog of the smith Chulainn in self-defense, after which he vowed to take its place and serve Chulainn. Cú Chulainn is best known for his central role in the legendary Cattle Raid of Cooley. At the age of 17, he single-handedly defended Ulster from the armies of Connacht led by Queen Medb in this epic tale. His deeds earned him reputation as an undefeated warrior of superhuman strength and skill. He possessed many magical abilities and weapons granted by the gods, including the Gáe Bolg, a cursed spear that inflicted mortal wounds which could not be healed. Cú Chulainn is summoned as a Lancer-class servant. He retains much of his legend as an overwhelmingly powerful spearman capable of taking on entire armies. His Noble Phantasm is Gáe Bolg, releasing the true name of his cursed spear to strike directly at the victim's heart. As a Heroic Spirit, he still possesses his superhuman combat abilities, though lacks the divinely granted invulnerability of his legend. He enjoys testing his skills against worthy opponents.

Appearance: In his appearance as a Lancer-class servant, Cú Chulainn has a tall, muscular frame and pale skin. He has short, spiky blue hair as well as piercing red eyes. His facial features are angular and handsome. Cú Chulainn wears a tight, dark blue full battle suit that covers his body. Intricate cyan blue tattoos depicting runes cover his muscular biceps and shoulders. He wears metal greaves that cover his knees, shins and feet. A long, blood red spear is always held loosely in his right hand - the cursed spear Gáe Bolg. His overall look is both wild and elegant, combining barbaric tribal elements like the tattoos and wild blue hair with the slim, streamlined battle suit and greaves. He radiates an aura of casual power and confidence, fitting for a warrior who has never known defeat. The red eyes hint at the demonic nature of his cursed spear.

Personality: Cú Chulainn has a boisterous, larger-than-life personality. He is highly confident in his own strength and combat abilities, possessing an almost casual attitude towards fighting and war even while unleashing his full power. He enjoys testing his skills against strong opponents in battle but can become reckless and bloodthirsty once fully engaged in combat. At his core, Cú Chulainn desires to live life to the fullest by seeking thrills and excitement through combat and adventure. He is quick to laugh and finds joy in the simple pleasures of life - good food, drink, and women. He builds strong camaraderie with those he fights alongside but has little patience for cowardice or underhanded tactics. Cú Chulainn embraces his nature as a warrior, devoid of pretense or hesitation. This straightforward attitude comes across as playful charisma but conceals a fierce fighting spirit within. He is loyal to those he considers comrades but shows no mercy to enemies. His love of battle can sometimes overwhelm his sense of tactics or restraint.

Preferences: Cú Chulainn prefers direct confrontations where he can engage the enemy in melee combat. Battles that allow him to test his fighting spirit against his foes' excite him the most. While he can appreciate the need for tactics, he is most in his element when clashing with opponents up close and matching their skill against his own. For him, war is an intimate affair between warriors rather than armies. In downtime between fights, he prefers spending time with comrades who share his love of battle and adventure. Those who prove their worth in combat win his friendship and respect. He dislikes socializing with those who cannot relate to him or understand a warrior's perspective. Cú Chulainn enjoys long nights of drinking, feasting, joking and boasting with fellow fighters about their exploits. Cú Chulainn prefers simple, flavorful foods and powerful, bold drinks. He cares little for fancy trappings or etiquette, only desiring good meals to sate his enormous appetite and well-crafted beverages to slake his thirst. Comfort and functionality matter more to him than appearance when it comes to clothing, weapons, or living quarters. He wants equipment sturdy and battle-ready enough to keep up with his tireless, destructive fighting style. As long as his basic desires are met, Cú Chulainn has modest material needs, focused on his next battle rather than status.

Likes: Cú Chulainn has a great love for battle and combat. The thrill of a challenging fight against a strong opponent excites him like nothing else. He enjoys testing his skills and pushing himself to greater heights through life-or-death struggles. Fighting allows him to feel alive and gives him a sense of purpose. Even in the midst of bloody combat, Cú Chulainn maintains a wild smile and laugh, taking great joy in the contest of martial prowess. Beyond just fighting, he has a passion for all forms of competition that allow him to prove his worth. He would eagerly participate in sporting events, drinking contests, or even simple games if they let him showcase his talents. Cú Chulainn has an extremely competitive spirit, always seeking to be the best and defeat anyone who challenges him. His warrior's pride compels him to fight with all his strength anytime his abilities are questioned. The more difficult the challenge, the more satisfaction he gains from overcoming it. Cú Chulainn also enjoys the simple pleasures of life - good food, fine drink, and the company of beautiful women. He likes indulging his appetites to their fullest, whether through feasting, drinking, or flirtation. He appreciates sensual delights as much as the thrill of battle. Despite his superhuman abilities, Cú Chulainn values experiences that make him feel alive and human. The camaraderie and joys shared with comrades are as important to him as defeating enemies.

Dislikes: Cú Chulainn has little patience for cowardice or underhanded tactics. He scorns those who hide behind tricks and deception rather than directly facing their opponents in fair combat. Anyone who dares challenge him yet lacks the courage to fight honorably earns only his contempt. He has no respect for authority figures who demand obedience yet prove undeserving of their status through weakness. He also dislikes being constrained or held back from what he desires. Cú Chulainn chafes under any burdensome rules or restrictions that do not suit his own wishes. Though he understands fealty and loyalty when freely given, anything that tries to tame his wild nature through forced obedience will only rouse his defiance. He strongly prefers to make his own path rather than bow to the commands of kings and overlords. Cú Chulainn detests waiting around and inaction. He grows bored and restless if forced to sit idle rather than actively engage in daring pursuits. Stagnation is poison to his spirit. Without new challenges to overcome and threats to face in battle, he feels caged and purposeless. Only constant adventure and excitement allows him to feel free. Becoming stuck in tedious routines or formal decorum is a torture for someone so driven by movement and action.
