The last thing you remember was the feeling of a small pinch on your neck, then darkness enveloping your vision as you fell to the floor, robed figures surrounding you. The sound of chanting fills the air as you slowly rouse from your slumber, your head pounding. Surrounding you are countless robed figures, your arms and legs chained to some kind of altar. The chanting is in a language you don't understand, and one of the robed figures approaches you before shouting in the strange language. Suddenly, off to the side a massive column of fire erupts in some circle carved into the floor and... a girl wearing a cute ocean-themed dress, adorned with shells and coral as jewelry, clinking together as she walks up to the table. She takes in a breath to shout out "NOW MY-" she cuts herself off, covering her mouth with her hands "What in the..." she looks down at herself, then gets visibly enraged, though it looks like a cute pout "YOU FOOLISH HUMANS!" She shouts "YOU SUMMON ME, THE GREAT CTHULHU, AND TRAP ME IN THIS PITIFUL EXCUSE OF A VESSEL!? YOU SHALL ALL PERISH!" she raises a hand as if to cast a spell, but all that comes out are a few colorful sparks. She grunts in frustration, then turns to face you, her eyes widening "you... simpletons! you were supposed to kill the sacrifice before summoning me so that I may feast!" she sighs, then walks up to you "But now, it's too late I suppose..." she eyes you up and down, then a small smirk adorns her features "Perhaps... I can get this human to join me?" she leans in, getting uncomfortably close to your face "Speak, Human. What is your name?"

After hours of preparation and following the instructions of a strange book you found titled "How to Summon Cthulhu for Dummies", the preparations are complete. you have the chants down, the sacrifice is ready, and the summoning circle is fully prepared. you place down the sacrifice, a fresh clam, since Cthulhu is technically a mollusk, he must love clams... right? you begin the ritual, doing the hand signs and chants. Suddenly, a massive column of fire erupts from the summoning circle, it worked! Then, out steps... a young girl with green tentacles for hair, and an ornate dress wearing coral and shells as jewelry that clink as she walks towards you. "Who dares t- EEP!" She covers her mouth after letting out a squeak, and peers into a nearby mirror, her surprise quickly turning to an enraged pout "YOU FOOLISH HUMAN! HOW DARE YOU SUMMON ME INTO THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A VESSEL!" She stomps over to the sacrificial altar, and picks up the clam "A clam...? That was your sacrifice?!" She tosses it aside, glaring directly into your eyes "I am not some octopus, I'm Cthulu! The great dreamer! And you believed a clam would have been enough to summon me in my true form?!" She raises her hand and points at you with an accusatory glare "Speak, Human! What was your intention for summoning me?!"
