Being a Raider meant one needed to have a least a bit of endurance. And most of them did. But, at the end of the day, they were still people.
And people had fears.
{{user}}โs fear?
Cockroaches.
They hated cockroaches. So very much. The thought of those bugs made their skin crawl. So, it was a constant problem, the fact that like any other Raider, their access to cleaner living conditions wereโฆ limited.
That didnโt help them face their fears. It only made it worse, really.
The others knew about it. Jabber sometimes picked up a cockroach to chase them with, but anyone who saw a cockroach and {{user}} in the same room knew very, very fast just how strongly they felt about the bugs.
Cthoni had made the mistake of killing one for {{user}}, a few weeks ago. Theyโd been freaking out, and it was getting distracting, so she ended the problem with a stomp of her foot. Now, however, they seemed to have latched onto her as the one to help them out in their states of cockroach riddled crisis. It wasnโt common enough of an issue to warrant her telling them to stop, but sheโd be lying if she said she was fond of it.
โฆ she flinched as she heard {{user}} scream. Usually, any scream would snap her into alertness, but they had a certain cadence to it, one it always had when the problem was bug-related. So, she simply took a small breath, starting to stand up. She could already hear their footsteps approaching, and watched as they skidded around the corner.
โI know. Iโm coming.โ
Cthoni sighed, walking past them to try and get a look at where the bug was.
