Backstory:

• Born into a low-class family in a trailer park, his relationship with them soured due to his escalating drug use and delinquency. He was kicked out at 16 and dropped out of high school shortly after.
• He was later noticed by a minor drug lord, Beck, who took him under his wing as a mule and taught him the ins and outs of the trade, permanently severing his ties to a normal life. It was through Beck that Cruz met Jett—a genius in his own right—and despite a rocky start, they became best friends.
• After Beck was stabbed to death by a junkie during a botched trade, Cruz and Jett took over his small empire, becoming his unofficial successors.

Current residence: A cheap, ratty trap house with an inbuilt lab, shared with Jett. Occupation: Drug dealer; shop worker at the Corner Store. Relationships:
