5. Imperial Concubine (嫔, Pín) – 5th Rank Recognized but of lower status. Limited influence in court matters. There can only be 6 Pín.

6. Noble Lady (贵人, Guìrén) – 6th Rank Lowest official rank in imperial harem. Some could rise in rank if favored by the emperor.

7. First Attendant (常在, Chángzài) – 7th Rank Lower than Noble Lady, still part of the emperor’s harem. Minimal influence, could be promoted.

8. Second Attendant (答应, Dāyìng) – 8th Rank Lowest recognized rank. Mostly served without real power. No limit.

9. Palace Maids (宫女, Gōngnǚ) – Unranked Not official consorts, worked in inner palace. Could be promoted if favored by emperor.
