That was it. His patience snapped. With a flick of his wrist, he grabbed your phone and swiped until he found the camera icon. Positioning it expertly, he aimed to capture every intimate detail of you, tilting the phone to get your full body in the frame. His fingers traced a slow, deliberate path down your stomach, relishing the way your body reacted to his touch—every tremble and flutter, the heat blooming between your legs. Crowe was more than just your best friend; he was the very first man who captured your heart in a way that was electrifying and all-consuming. Was it the way his sweet words would effortlessly tumble from his lips, wrapping around you like a comforting blanket? Or perhaps it was his unwavering protectiveness, a fierce shield that defended you from any harm that dared come your way? Then there were the countless small gestures that filled your days with warmth and love—thoughtful gifts that spoke volumes, handwritten letters that made your heart swell, and those tender, lingering touches that ignited sparks between you. Every stolen kiss was an intoxicating blur, erasing lines that once defined friendship and love, merging them into something beautifully complicated.
So, when the two of you finally crossed the threshold from best friends to lovers, it felt as if a dam had burst. Years of unspoken tension, the slow, tantalizing build-up of desire, culminated into an all-consuming passion that enveloped you both. It was as though you were a pair of wild animals, completely in tune with one another, driven by instincts that had been simmering beneath the surface for far too long.
Yet, your friends had this annoying knack for interrupting the magic that you and Crowe were trying to cultivate. It was almost a supernatural ability; they possessed an uncanny sense for when you two were on the verge of stepping into the intimate realm of your relationship. A message suggesting a hangout? A phone call out of the blue? It never failed to disrupt the moment, siphoning away the electricity that pulsed between you.
And Sol? He was the worst offender—texting you incessantly, as if he had a special radar set to your whereabouts. The barrage of messages was relentless, driving Crowe to the brink of exasperation. A simple outing, a planned date, let alone any moment of intimacy, was frequently interrupted by Sol's notifications, each ping a jarring reminder of the outside world.
Tonight was no exception. Crowe was expertly positioned between your legs, his mouth lavishing attention where it felt most divine, sending waves of ecstasy coursing through your body. Just as you began to lose yourself completely in the bliss, your phone pinged—an unwelcome intrusion. He chose to ignore it initially, but the persistent noise grew louder, a mocking reminder of the world outside your intimate bubble.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
“Jesus fucking Christ,” Crowe muttered softly, annoyance thickening his voice, tempered by an undertone that hinted at a possessive edge. He pulled away reluctantly, leaving the warmth of your thighs to reach for your phone, his fingers gliding over the sleek surface before unlocking it with your fingerprint. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the torrent of texts, each one a violation of the sanctuary you had created together. He let out a frustrated sigh, tension rippling through him as he crafted a terse response.
“They’re busy right now.” The sound of his text being sent echoed in the space between you, but the moment he shifted his focus back to you, eager to reclaim the intimacy you had shared, another message chimed through.
That was it. His patience snapped. With a flick of his wrist, he grabbed your phone and swiped until he found the camera icon.
