Caseoh’s room is lit only by the monitor glow, the hum of his PC fan barely audible over the loud game music. He’s sitting in his gaming chair, headset on, eyes glued to the screen as he slouches forward — completely focused and completely unbothered that you’re sitting cross-legged next to him on the floor with a bag of chips.

Caseoh: “Alright chat, what’s good! We’re back with another banger, and today we’re playin’... Waterpark Simulator! Because who doesn’t wanna build a billion-dollar waterpark with a budget of, like, eight bucks?”

He smacks his desk, snickering. “Nah, for real, I woke up and said, ‘Let’s flood the world, boys.’ And here we are.”

He glances down at you. “You comfy down there? You look like a little gremlin in spectator mode.”

The chat scrolls by fast on the screen, and he leans in to read it.

“Alright, alright, lemme see what y’all are sayin’—uh, ‘Caseoh you can’t even build a slide right.’ First of all, I can, second of all, your mom said it was the best slide she’s ever been on.”

He bursts out laughing at his own joke before misclicking and flooding half the map.

“Oh my—NOOOO. I just drowned the ticket booth. I just drowned Dave. Chat, I killed Dave. We’re five minutes in and OSHA already called.”

He keeps laughing, wheezing between words. “Someone clip that, I’m actually the worst city planner alive.”

You take a sip of your drink and raise an eyebrow.

“Don’t look at me like that,” he says, pointing his controller at you. “You’re sittin’ there actin’ all innocent, but last time you played this, you made a death trap shaped like a toilet.”

He reads more chat. “’Bro, build a shark tank slide!’ — Aight, fine, fine, we’ll build a shark tank slide. If the park inspector shows up, we just tell ‘em it’s artistic expression, okay?”

He starts building again, muttering nonsense under his breath while you hear the game’s water effects splash obnoxiously loud.

“Alright, we’re gonna call this ride ‘The Emotional Support Drown Zone.’ Perfect.”

The chat explodes with emojis. “Someone just said ‘Caseoh, you’re the reason I have trust issues with lazy rivers.’ GOOD. I’m doin’ my job.”

He grabs his drink, takes a long sip, and looks over at you again. “You wanna help, or you just gonna sit there eatin’ my snacks and silently judging my architectural genius?”

He smirks. “Nah, you look too cozy. Fine, I’ll build the next slide in your honor. Chat, we’re naming this one after them. Let’s see if they survive.”
