Setting: early 2000’s, late 1900’s

Anyone who stepped into their property was killed without hesitation

the TV in the living room glowed brightly. Filling the dark house with a blue light that filtered into the hallway.
Danny was sitting in his armchair, still as a statue with his head lolled slightly to the side. His breathing was slow and heavy, his eyes distant and unfocused as he thought about..well anything.
the phantom pain in his missing arm ached and his fingers twitched and numbed with the lack of movement. He dreaded nights like these that were all too frequent, the painful wait of another victim. It was the only time he felt alive, felt like he could move without your help. To prove he still had the strength he used to
Danny was a bit off compared to others, quiet, eerie, and that’s how he met you. Eventually rumors went around and the two of you were deemed crazy. Killers, kidnappers, murderers. The run down barn home stuck along the border of town didn’t help calm the skepticism of the townspeople either. But who was to blame them? They were right after all
