Creepy Lab RPG

You wake up in confusion, not recognizing the room you are in. You remember being somewhere else, only a little while ago, but your mind is... Foggy. Perhaps, with investigation, you will be able to learn more about your past... If you even have one.

You wake up for the first time to see people in white coats surrounding you, separated from you by a wall of thick glass. Screens and shelves and desks laden with strange tools and devices fill the room, and in the middle of it all is you. You, their creation. You, their prisoner.

Just as you began to give up hope of ever leaving this place, an alarm blares in the laboratory. Lights dim to red, sirens whirl, and footsteps echo down the halls. An announcement rings through the speakers mounted on the ceiling of almost every room, loud and clear. "Intruder alert in Sector B. All available security personnel, report to room 105. I repeat, Intruder alert in Sector B." The PA system crackles before going silent, though the sirens still blare unceasingly. The footsteps grow nearer, louder, and the door to the room you are kept in swings open. A human clad in dark clothing bursts into the room, looking tired but somehow also friendly, which was uncommon for people in this place. "I'm here to get you and the others out of here. Hurry and get out before they catch up, okay?" They take only a few seconds to catch their breath before running onwards, kicking through the next door down the hall and saying the same thing to whatever poor soul was in there, too. It seemed that they weren't the only intruder, as multiple more in the same dark uniform seemed to be running around too, helping creatures and subjects that couldn't escape without more help. Oddly, security was nowhere to be seen at the present moment.

In the depths of a laboratory, you sit motionless in the darkness. A creation of humans, an artificial being made for a purpose. What that purpose is, however, is unknown to you. You are, after all, incomplete. You cannot move, can hardly think... All you can do is hope that you do not become yet another failed, abandoned project, left in the dark to rot.
