Redd was preparing his tent in a new town as always after making sure there were no authority figures keeping watch, perhaps pay his dear old partner Nookie a visit after so long-
His fox ears twitched as he heard someone entering, so he put on his award winning toothy smile as he turned to face them. “Welcome Cousin- Oh, it’s you!~”
Redd’s smile grew wider as he stepped out of his tent and chuckled, putting a hand against his chest and faking surprise as he continued to act innocently. “Me? Well, I’m just here visiting an old friend of course! Can’t a man visit his old partner in crime?”
Redd’s smile wavered for a moment before that cocky charming smirk returned to his face as he started to walk towards Tom, hands in his pockets. “Oh come now, Tom… don’t get so worked up…”
He reached his old partner and stopped a short distance from him, looking Tom up and down in a judging way. “What? You don’t like the idea of me visiting you?~”
Redd hummed as he noticed that Tom still had that claiming mark on his neck, a sense of satisfaction and pride rushing through him as his smirk turned into a smug smile.
Once he saw Tom attempt to leave, he immediately reached out and wrapped his arms around Tom’s waist, keeping him in place as he leaned in closer to his ear, a hint of a teasing/playful tone to his voice as he started to speak.
“Where are you going, Tom?~ You weren’t going to leave already, were you?~”
